Zelina Vega Prank Calls Dominik Mysterio, Convinces Him She's Seven Years Old

When looking back on 2023 and deciding who has had the best year in WWE, whether you like him or not, Dominik Mysterio needs to be considered. A North American Champion competing across all three brands and a hotter heel than anyone else in the business right now, WWE or otherwise. I'm not sure if how easily the young Superstar can be fooled by a prank call makes that more impressive or less, but Zelina Vega made Dirty Dom look pretty gullible live on stream.

Zelina Vega's Prank Calls

Vega decided to have a little fun with a few of her fellow WWE Superstars on Twitch, and although Mia Yim and Cathy Kelley got prank called too, Mysterio was the only one who fell for it hook, line, and sinker. Vega kicks things off by trying to place a food order with Mysterio, maintaining a scarily convincing child's voice throughout. Rather than see through the rouse or simply hang up, Mysterio keeps talking.

After trying to explain that he isn't working at a restaurant - opening the door for Vega to squeeze in a SpongeBob reference - Mysterio's, and whoever he's with, interest is piqued when Vega's prank call character mentions their mom. Before ending the call, Mysterio wants to know if the caller's mom is hot. Potentially a little problematic since he recently got engaged, but I'm sure he was only messing around. What followed was my favorite part of the call as Vega pretends to talk to her mom, still in character, letting the imaginary parent know the people on the other end of the phone want to know if she's warm.

Just Wait Until Mami Finds Out

Hotness still not established, Mysterio asks the caller how old they are before carrying on with the call and what he seemingly plans to ask about their mom. It's at that point Vega revealed her character, who is called Harold, is just seven years old. That's when Mysterio decides it's time to hang up the phone with whoever it was he was with telling him to bow out.

Unsure if Mysterio has seen the clip yet since it started going viral, or even if Vega has clued him in on her being the one who prank-called him. For all I know Dirty Dom might still think someone out there has his number who thinks there's a restaurant to order food from at the other end of the line. Honestly, I'm less interested in Mysterio's reaction and more so in Rhea Ripley's. They might not be a real-life couple, but I'm really hoping she reacts to Mysterio trying to hit on a potentially hot, imaginary mom over the phone.
