The Hardy Boyz are one of the most decorated tag teams of all time. They have been competing for years, and their influence is undeniable. Ask any modern-day superstar, and they will likely tell you that the brothers from Cameron, North Carolina, played a part in making them fall in love with professional wrestling.

Many people have some great things to say about Matt and Jeff, and the duo has made some friends throughout decades of service in the industry. Yet, there are others who don't have much good to say about them, and the feelings are mutual.

10 Love: Michael Hayes

The Hardy Boyz were relegated to a lesser role within the World Wrestling Federation during their early days. It wasn't uncommon to see them getting squashed by some of the best teams of the 1990s. However, after the team was repackaged, they aligned with Michael Hayes, who made his name as a member of The Fabulous Freebirds.

Matt and Jeff have remained vocal about their appreciation for Hayes throughout their career. He was there for them initially, and even toward the end of their tenures with the promotion, he was always the go-to whenever they had ideas to pitch to Vince McMahon.

9 Don't: Edge

Lita and Edge as Champions

Thanks to their spectacular matches, The Hardy Boyz and Edge and Christian will forever be tied together. The foursome were close outside the ring. Yet, there was some bad blood when it was revealed that Matt's longtime girlfriend, Lita, was having a real-life affair with Edge.

While Matt was the one who was impacted directly, Jeff, siding with his brother, wasn't a big fan of Edge either. Nonetheless, it appears as if everyone patched things up, at least to some degree, but their relationship is likely not the same as it once was.

8 Love: Shane Helms

Shane Helms has been a close friend to both Matt and Jeff for years. One of Helms' first stops in the wrestling business was in the Organization of Modern Extreme Grappling Arts (OMEGA), a promotion founded by the brothers, and the trio has remained close to this day.

The Hardy Boyz have been one of the most influential teams in professional wrestling history, so much so that Helms may have had some help earning his spot in World Championship Wrestling based on his association with the team. However, most would argue that Helms is talented enough to find work alone based on his wrestling prowess. Still, knowing Matt and Jeff certainly hasn't hurt anyone looking to make a name for themselves.

7 Don't: Lita

Team Xtreme

It takes two to tango, so, of course, Edge wasn't the only one guilty when it came to the real-life romance with Lita. While Lita, Jeff, and Matt will forever be known as Team Xtreme, things got really hairy between the three after the affair was made public.

Things were said, bridges were burned, and while Matt now has a family with Reby Sky. While they're likely not eager to reconnect any time soon, the time that has passed since the saga has likely cooled the tension considerably.

6 Love: Shannon Moore

Shannon Moore

Like Shane Helms, Shannon Moore has been an associate of the Hardys for years. He was born in North Carolina and was a frequent presence in the pair's OMEGA promotion.

After spending years on the independent scene and in World Championship Wrestling, he reconnected with Matt in 2002, serving as his associate on the SmackDown brand. Nonetheless, While Moore isn't as active as he used to be, he continues to have a strong bond with the brothers to this very day.

5 Don't: JBL

JBL WWE Champion Promo

John "Bradshaw" Layfield has had heat with plenty of wrestlers. From Joey Styles, The Blue Meanie, Mauro Ranallo, and others, he isn't well-liked, and that's putting it nicely. The Hardy Boyz also aren't a fan of JBL.

Layfield had no issues hazing wrestlers, and when he attempted to have Matt and Jeff complete "tasks," which included drinking and driving, they refused. As a result, their relationship wasn't good by any means, and it likely still isn't.

4 Love: Joey Mercury

The Hardys relationship with Shannon Moore and Shane Helms is widely known by those who closely follow the backstage happenings of pro wrestling. Still, not many know that Matt and Jeff have a close bond with a few others, including Joey Mercury.

Mercury is most known for his days as one-half of MNM, partnering with Johnny Nitro (John Morrison). Melina managed the pair, and they would go on to capture the tag team titles on several occasions. While Matt, Jeff, and Mercury are no longer in WWE, they remain friends.

3 Don't: CM Punk

CM Punk

CM Punk is one of the most popular superstars on the planet. He is a straight shooter, and he's never been shy about voicing his opinion of others. That's not to say that it hasn't gotten him in hot water from time to time, so when he had a feud with Jeff Hardy, things got a little personal. It's no secret that Punk prefers the straight-edge lifestyle, historically voicing his disdain for drugs and alcohol.

On the other hand, Jeff has a well-documented history of substance abuse issues. When the two were feuding back in 2009, their on-air beef became a little "too real," with Punk questioning Jeff's lifestyle choices. While it made for great television, it didn't do much to enhance Jeff and Punk's relationship. Matt also felt Punk took things too far, and they also had beef.

2 Love: Gangrel

The New Brood: Gangrel and the Hardy Boyz

Michael Hayes guided The Hardy Boyz after their days as enhancement talents. However, wrestling fans began to notice the brothers once they aligned themselves with Gangrel to form The New Brood. Gangrel was one of the most popular Attitude Era superstars, primarily due to his spectacular ring entrance that included fire and blood-spitting.

As a result, Matt and Jeff immediately got even more recognition as legit competitors, and the brothers have been open about their feelings regarding the quasi-vampire.

1 Don't: Paul London

While Paul London doesn't have any issues with Jeff, he doesn't have a very high opinion of the eldest Hardy. Both men have engaged in a war of words over the years, mainly on the internet, with London accusing Matt of being disingenuous toward his fan base while also calling him "fat and ugly."

Years later, he even took a shot at Matt Hardy's then-girlfriend and current wife, Reby Sky. Both Hardy and London were also romantically linked to Ashley Massaro, which certainly didn't help things. Nonetheless, it's safe to say that these two won't be mending fences anytime soon.
