Wrestlers React To Nikki A.S.H. Becoming Raw Women's Champion

Nikki A.S.H. didn't waste any time after becoming Miss Money in the Bank, cashing in her contract on Raw just 24 hours later.
The first Raw back in front of fans for well over a year was packed with big moments on Monday night. Goldberg's return, Karrion Kross's debut, and an opening promo from John Cena. However, the biggest moment of all was saved for the very end of the show. Nikki A.S.H. cashing in her Money in the Bank contract to become Raw Women's Champion.
Nikki A.S.H. Cashes In
Charlotte Flair won her 11th title at Money in the Bank on Sunday night, defending it against Ripley in a rematch last night on Raw. The Queen lost the match by DQ, ensuring that she remained champion. What she didn't bank on was Nikki then cashing in her contract and capitalizing on a battle-worn Flair.
Nikki is now champion, her first singles title in WWE, and it appears the wrestling world couldn't be happier. Her husband Killian Dain, who was released by WWE earlier this year, led the congratulatory tweets on Monday night. "You worked crazy hard in the gym & you worked crazy hard in the ring. You went above & beyond to get this pitch right & you nailed it," Dain tweeted.
Even Andrade Is Happy
Dain wasn't the only one in the business happy to see Nikki win gold on Monday night. Alexa Bliss also congratulated the new champion, interesting as she could well be one of her first challengers. Andrade also tweeted congratulations to Nikki despite the fact she beat his partner in order to win her first singles title. Fair as despite what happened on-screen, Flair is probably just as happy as the rest of us to see Nikki get what she deserves.
Tay Conti, Ember Moon, Mick Foley, the list of wrestlers, regardless of promotion or era, happy to see Nikki finally get her moment is a very long one that keeps getting longer. The journey Nikki has been on to reach this point is pretty remarkable. It was only two months ago she was a lumberjack in a match that didn't concern her. One new gimmick later, that many fans spoke out against, and she is the Raw Women's Champion.
