Why Janelle May Have a Secret Plan To Leave Kody

Sister Wives viewers believe they may have figured out Janelle Brown's secret plan to escape her loveless marriage to her husband, Kody Brown.

Janelle Brown has been Sister Wives' Kody Brown's third wife for years, but fans feel they may have uncovered her secret plan to leave him. Christine Brown already left Kody back in November 2021, but he now fears he may be losing another wife. Janelle has been quiet about her plans to stay married or not, with most viewers feeling she should call it quits.

There is no doubt that Janelle has always been the most independent of the bunch. Janelle has always had a job outside the home and helped earn a living for the large polygamous family. Janelle is also very level-headed when it comes to arguments or big changes. While she and Kody butted heads a little during Sister Wives season 16, due to his strict COVID-19 rules, the two seemed to have the most stable relationship. In recent years fans have wondered if Janelle would be the next to leave Kody, especially since he has been spending most of his time with Robyn Brown.

Amid split speculation, it doesn't necessarily look like Janelle will ever live under one roof again with Kody. In December, Janelle bought herself a luxury RV and even lived in it during the summer months in Coyote Pass. The RV itself has a lot of bells and whistles, such as a kitchenette, living room, primary bedroom, and a second living space. While the camper is big, it doesn't look like there is room for Kody in it. However, in a surprise move, Janelle recently revealed she had packed her trailer away for the summer and found a short-term rental to live in with her daughter, Savanah.

During the tell-all reunion for Sister Wives, Janelle was asked the all-important question about whether or not she still believed in polygamy. While she may have responded "yes," noting she was still here, fans didn't seem to believe her answer. Janelle did reveal there was a point during COVID where she questioned if she wanted to be a part of the family, still noting life was easier without Kody. Janelle also dropped a bomb that she almost left Kody at the same time Christine did.

Sister Wives fans fully believe that Janelle has left or is planning to leave Kody. Even though she has denied the rumors, it could be possible that Janelle has had a secret plan to live a single life all along. With the cameras now filming for season 17, this could be the year that Janelle gets a major storyline. Fans will have to wait and see if she finally decided to leave the father of 18 behind for a fresh start.
