Who Are The New Chicago Med Cast Members For Season 7

The first cast member joining the "Chicago Med" family is Guy Lockard as Dr. Dylan Scott, "an ex-cop who's doing a dual residency in emergency medicine and pediatrics" (via NBC) after leaving the Chicago police force to become a doctor. Whether Dr. Scott has any connections to Chicago P.D. is still unknown.

Elsewhere joining the emergency trauma center is Dr. Stevie Hammer, "a brilliant, scrappy emergency medicine doctor with a surprising past" (via NBC) who already has ties to the Gaffney Chicago Medical Center, as it's revealed she went to medical school with Dr. Will Halstead (Nick Gehlfuss), as noted by via Hello!. Played by Canadian actress Kristen Hager, you might recognize the actress from films such as "Wanted" and "Aliens vs. Predator – Requiem," as well as TV series like "Gotham" and "Schitt's Creek."

Fans can expect some of the usual drama from the One Chicago evenings, as well as a potential love triangle, as Hager told Hello! they "always make for good TV." "There's a competitive dynamic between the two of them — [Hammer] was first [in college] and [Halstead] wasn't, and they are always trying to prove the other wrong," Hager told the outlet.

She added, "Stevie had a tough childhood and had to work extra hard to get where she is, so has a lot to prove. But she also keeps a lot of her past private and that will come into play throughout the season." We can't wait to see what drama Dr. Hammer will be causing on "Chicago Med."
