Following Vince McMahon's retirement, WWE has apparently lifted the bans on two notable words.

When McMahon was in charge of WWE programming, he had a predilection for using particular terminology, such as "titles" for championship belts, "title opportunities" for championship shots, and "wrestling" for wrestling.

Wrestling insider Dave Meltzer says the latter phrases are no longer prohibited with Triple H in charge.

“It was noted it was more relaxed and calmer, that the women felt there is going to be more focus on them and that the words wrestler and wrestling were no longer dirty words talent was instructed to never use without authorization, and almost everyone considers that a good thing,” Meltzer noted via the Wrestling Observer Newsletter (H/T WrestleTalk.com).

Some Wrestlers Have Concerns About Triple H

Stephanie McMahon and Nick Khan were named co-CEOs of WWE after Vince stepped down, and Triple H assumed control of the creative department.

While HHH’s promotion has been mostly well-received, it’s been reported that some WWE stars aren't exactly pleased with The Game’s newfound power.

Speaking on Wrestling Observer Radio, Meltzer claimed certain wrestlers are concerned about losing their positions in the wake of McMahon's retirement.

"I’ve heard from some talent, and generally, they are positive," he said. "There are definitely people who are worried that they’re gonna lose their spots, and there will be some people who will because you’re gonna have different visions of who the top people are. Not everyone can be a top person."
