AEW president Tony Khan has talked up the company’s signing of veteran superstar Jeff Hardy.
Hardy made his AEW debut at Dynamite last Wednesday, reuniting with his brother, Matt Hardy, on-screen months after he was released by WWE.

Khan, who has been making some huge signings for his promotion as of late, was full of praise for Hardy, who he reckons is a real coup for AEW.
The AEW boss spoke on Busted Open Radio and revealed his admiration for the Charismatic Enigma. Khan pointed out that the former WWE Champion could mentor younger talent as well as ignite the tag scene and even singles affairs.
“I do think he transcends age and experience in many ways,” said Khan (H/T Fightful). “He’s someone that a lot of young wrestlers can learn a lot from in terms of connecting with the crowd. He’s also a fresh and exciting matchup for wrestlers in AEW. Not just in tag teams, but he’s a great singles wrestler, a former World Champion. Having Jeff Hardy in AEW is going to be huge for singles and tag teams.
“It’s going to be great for experienced wrestlers and people he’s been in the same company with before. Then you have a whole locker room of people that have never been in the same company that have been dreaming of this moment.”
A Stupendous Debut
Hardy’s Dynamite debut saw him come to his brother’s aid, with Andrade, Private Party, and other HFO stars turning on Matt and attacking him. Darby Allin and Sting stepped in, but it was Jeff who came in to clear the ring and deliver his iconic Swanton Bomb to an effusive pop from the crowd.
It promises to be an exciting time for AEW with both Hardys now on the roster.
