BenDeLaCreme and Jinkx Monsoon share a lot in common, but it's perhaps their laughter that keeps the two bonded together. According to Evie Appleson, who interviewed DeLa for The Mancunion, DeLa is just as genuine and caring as she appears on the stage or on the screen, and she's just as funny. DeLa confirmed this, saying that she and Jinkx's comedy is "central" to their friendship.

"Her vivaciousness and the immediacy she brings as a performer has really inspired me to play more and to really expand the way that I perform," she told The Queer Review. Moreover, Jinkx, in an interview with Broadway World, explained that both of them have "Type A personalities," which helps them accomplish things together while still remaining close friends.
