The Sitter brought together a great cast from talented young, upcoming actors to established names, all of who helped bring this hilarious babysitting comedy to life. The adventure had a lot of ups and downs, with a run-in with a drug lord, a battle with an MMA fighter, and all of the children dealing with personal issues.

There's a lot of humor to be found in this movie, and it is the cast themselves that help make this movie so funny. However, while they're great in these roles, there's plenty of other places where audiences can find them.

10 Jessica Hecht (Friends)

Jessica Hecht only has a supporting role in The Sitter, but it does have importance, as this actually is the character that leads to Noah having to babysit in the first place. She plays his mother, who is simply looking to go on a night out with her friend which she hopes will lead to a date.

The character is just a small one, but it is one that Jessica Hecht plays well. She has fantastic comic timing, and that's clear within her role on the hit sitcom, Friends. She plays Carol, one of the minor romantic relationships in Friends, who is often seen as sarcastic, with her and Ross's back and forth arguments always a lot of fun to watch.

9 Kylie Bunbury (Under The Dome)

Another member of the supporting cast is Kylie Bunbury. She joins the movie partway through, playing Roxanne, who is one of Noah's old classmates. The two didn't talk at the time, but when they bump into each other during the movie, it becomes clear that Roxanne liked him, which sets up a genuine romantic interest for his character.

Kyle has had a great career since being part of this movie, although most of her success has actually come in television. She took on a lead role in Under The Dome for the third season of the show, which is all about a small city that ends up being trapped inside a dome, being cut off from everyone else.

8 Samira Wiley (Orange Is The New Black)

Samira Wiley gets to work as one of the most intimidating characters in The Sitter as Tina, someone from Noah's past that he ends up annoying. She's involved in a hilarious scene with Noah, which results in her punching him in the face but her character eventually growing to gain some respect for him.

When it comes to Samira's career, she is best known as Poussey Washington, one of the most intelligent characters in Orange Is the New Black who is involved in one of the most emotional scenes in the entire show.

7 Ari Graynor (Bad Teacher)

In The Sitter, Ari Graynor plays the girl of Noah's dreams, with whom he wants to be in a relationship, yet she is happy to just take advantage of him. It's Marisa that convinces him to go and pick up drugs, which set the whole downfall into motion, and ends up being a real problem for him.

Aside from this, Ari is best known for being in the show Bad Teacher, which is based on the movie of the same name. It's one of the best movies that turned 20 in 2021 and features Cameron Diaz. Here, she plays a teacher who has no real interest in doing the job but is simply attempting to try to find herself a wealthy husband in one of the kid's fathers.

6 J.B. Smoove (Saturday Night Live)

J.B. Smoove is a great comedic character actor and that much is clear from his role on The Sitter. He plays Julio, who is involved in the drug empire in The Sitter and he works as a right-hand man for Karl.

This shouldn't come as a big surprise to anybody who knows his work prior to this movie though, as he is well-known for being part of Saturday Night Live, where he worked as both a writer and a performer.

5 Alex Wolff (Hereditary)

Alex Wolff takes on a small role within The Sitter, being a friend of Slater's at school. However, he ends up proving himself to be a bully later on in the movie, acting unkind to Slater despite the fact he knows that he can be quite a nervous person.

However, if audiences want to see Alex take on a slightly bigger role, then the movie Hereditary will provide that. This horror movie brings a completely different vibe to The Sitter, but it puts Alex as one of the lead characters, as his family is haunted and possessed. Hereditary is one of the great twisted horror movies that need to be watched twice.

4 Kevin Hernandez (My Name Is Earl)

When Kevin Hernandez was just a young actor, he was involved in the hit series, My Name Is Earl. He took on the role of Oscar, who was Catalina's nephew and somebody that people believed had voodoo powers.

In The Sitter, there are no voodoo powers to be seen, instead, Kevin's character is a true pyromaniac who has a lot of anger. However, because he is so young, it was something nobody expected, which led to his character being a lot of fun.

3 Landry Bender (Fuller House)

Landry Bender is one of the true stars in The Sitter, bringing tons of personality and sass into the movie, even though she is just young. Her character is funny, mostly because she likes to believe that she is a lot older than she actually is.

Whether it's putting on tons of makeup or wanting to go rock around the nightclub, she is always hilarious in what she says or does. However, outside of this movie, Landry is best known for being part of Fuller House, which she joined from the third season of the show.

2 Max Records (Where The Wild Things Are)

Max Record is another one of the children that Noah has to babysit and he is one who can be very emotional. He's a worrier and believes that he must take pills in order to calm himself down, which isn't the case, as Noah explains to him throughout the movie.

Max's most well-known role actually comes from before he was part of The Sitter, as he was involved in Where The Wild Things Are. The popular book adaptation saw him take on the role of Max, who ends up being named the King when he meets the Wild Things.

1 Jonah Hill (The Wolf Of Wall Street)

Jonah Hill is a tremendous actor, with many great movies under his belt and he has been in countless box office hits, from comedies to serious dramas. In The Sitter, he had the lead role of Noah, the babysitter whose night just goes from bad to worse as the story goes on.

One movie that Hill is known for is The Wolf Of Wall Street, where he plays Danny Porush, the right-hand man to Jordan Belfort, getting to live the ultimate high life because of it.
