The WWE Tag Title reign of Kevin Owens and Sami Zayn, one that began in a historic match that closed night one of this year's WrestleMania, has finally come to an end. Despite their recent differences, The Judgment Day's Finn Balor and Damian Priest pulled together to win the match, Balor covering Zayn after a chaotic few minutes to seal the victory and bring more gold to the group. It took the rest of that group to help make that happen, though.

The Judgment Day Is Draped In Gold

Dominik Mysterio was the first and last member of the group not officially involved in the match to help ensure the titles changed hands. Since the match was a street fight, technically anyone was allowed to get involved, and anything was allowed to happen. Mysterio helped Balor pick up the win by clocking Zayn with Priest's Money in the Bank briefcase, breaking up the pin and opening the door for Balor to cover Zayn for the win.

Owens likely assumed he had taken Mysterio out of proceedings a little while before the North American champion directly influenced the result of the match. Laid out on a table out in the crowd, KO climbed onto a railing above an exit and hit Mysterio with a Swanton Bomb. Unlucky for Owens, not only did Mysterio recover from that, but The Prizefighter likely didn't even see exactly how the match came to an end.

It Took More Than Two

That's because Rhea Ripley speared Owens through the barricade right before the match came to an end. A bold move from Ripley considering she still has to defend her Women's World Title tonight. Last but not least, unofficial Judgment Day member JD McDonagh also played a key role in helping the group he wants to be a part of win the Tag Team Titles. McDonagh pulled Zayn off of Balor right after the latter ate a Helluva Kick, getting a powerbomb onto the announce table for his troubles immediately after.

Owens had a particularly rough night of it even without the title loss. Very early on in the match, KO needed to be taken to one side so the blood running down his face could be mopped away. We were treated to two costume changes from Owens, though. KO ripped off his t-shirt to reveal a Terry Funk tribute underneath and then popped on a Pittsburgh Penguins jersey a short while after that.
