The Hardy Boyz have won plenty of Tag Team Championships in the WWE. Some reigns have been memorable, whereas some have been bitterly forgettable. Matt and Jeff Hardy, better known as The Hardys, are one of the most decorated tag teams in WWE history. The duo is the only team to have won the WWF/World Tag, WCW, Raw, and Smackdown Tag Team Championships.

The brothers from North Carolina have won tag team gold in the WWE nine times. They are the only team to have won WWE Tag Team titles in three different decades. It is a testament to their longevity. The Hardy's are undoubtedly going to be WWE Hall of Famers with what they have achieved in the wrestling industry.
9 WWF Tag Team Championship - 2001 (5th Reign)
The Invasion storyline between the WWF and The Alliance comprised of WCW and ECW in 2001 featured countless of title changes. Title reigns only seemed to have lasted a week or two at most. On the road to Survivor Series 2001, the Hardys defeated Booker T and Test on the November 5th episode of Raw with Jeff pinning Booker with a roll-up for their fifth reign as WWF Tag Team Champions.
This was the Hardys' shortest run with the straps, holding it for just six days. It was set up for a Steel Cage Title Unification Match against WCW Tag Team champions The Dudleys at Survivor Series. They lost their titles to their rivals in an underrated cage match.
8 Smackdown Tag Team Championship - 2019 (1st Reign)
The Hardys were once again chasing more tag team gold in 2019. They challenged The Usos for the Smackdown Tag Team Championships on April 9, 2019. It was the first Smackdown after WrestleMania 35, and it was the first all-brothers affair for those titles. The Hardys bested The Usos claiming their first Smackdown Tag Titles, their ninth and most recent overall together.

Unfortunately, before their run could gain momentum, Jeff suffered a knee injury that required surgery. It was a heartbreaking moment for the Hardys as they relinquished the titles three weeks later.
7 WWF Tag Team Championship - 2000 (3rd Reign)
At No Mercy 2000, the Hardys' second WWF Tag Team title reign came to an end at the hands of Edge and Christian. Edge and Christian disguised as Los Conquistadores as they were banned from challenging the Hardys for the titles.
The following night on Raw on October 22nd, The Hardys invoked their rematch clause but turned the tables on Edge and Christian. They took a page out of their books and dressed up as Los Conquistadores themselves. Jeff performed a Swanton Bomb for the three-count, once they unveiled their masks, WWF Commissioner Mick Foley allowed the title change to stand. Their forgettable run with the gold lasted 14 days, dropping the titles to Right to Censor's Bull Buchanan and The Goodfather.
6 WWF Tag Team Championship - 2001 (4th Reign)
Title changes in 2001 would seem to happen on a week-to-week basis. Another instance of this occurring was The Hardys defeating The Dudleys on the March 5, 2001, episode of Raw for their fourth WWF Tag Team championship.
Once again, The Hardys' reign was brief as they dropped the titles to Edge and Christian 14 days later on Raw. However, The Hardys could count themselves as unlucky as the title shot was reserved for the Dudleys. Edge and Christian were up to no good claiming The Dudleys were not at the arena. Their reign may have been brief but it set up TLC II for WrestleMania 17.
5 WWF Tag Team Championship - 1999 (1st Reign)
In 1999, The Hardy Boys were finding their feet in the WWF. They were under the tutelage of former Freebird, Michael Hayes. The Hardys unexpectedly upset Bradshaw and Faarooq of The Acolytes on an episode of Monday Night Raw in the summer of 1999 to win their first WWF Tag Team titles.

It was a breakthrough moment for The Hardys as it showed that WWE had faith in them. Inevitably, they would drop the titles back to the Acolytes in a 3-on-2 handicap match in their first PPV title defense at Fully Loaded 1999 with Hayes taking the fall. Despite their reign being short, it was a sign of things to come for The Hardys as they were destined for greatness.
4 WCW Tag Team Championship - 2001 (1st Reign)
The Hardys challenged The Alliance's Booker T and Test for the WCW Tag Team titles on the October 8, 2001, episode of Raw. They defeated the Alliance duo for their only reign as WCW Tag Team champions. You would have thought that the Hardys would have successfully defended a tag team title on pay-per-view but they failed to with their first four WWF Tag Team title crowns.
They stopped the rut at No Mercy 2001 as they retained the title against their good friend and reigning WWF European Champion The Hurricane and Lance Storm. Their time with the WCW Tag Team titles would last 15 days, losing to the Dudleys two days later on the October 23, 2001 edition of Smackdown.
3 WWF Tag Team Championship - 2000 (2nd Reign)
The Hardys had been credible challengers for the WWF Tag Team titles since they lost the titles in July 1999. Patience was a virtue as The Hardys renewed their rivalry with champions Edge and Christian. Stakes were raised once more as they challenged the Canadians in a Steel Cage match at Unforgiven 2000. The foursome is rightfully remembered for their TLC and Ladder match epics on the big stage of WrestleMania and SummerSlam.
However, The Hardys won their second WWF Tag Team titles as they both nailed Edge with a con-chair-to at the top of the cage, with Edge taking a nasty bump, crashing to the mat. Edge's lifeless body laid in the ring as the Hardys climbed over the cage. Matt and Jeff rejoiced their first tag team titles victory in 14 months which was well overdue. The following night on Raw, they retained the titles in a tag team Ladder match against Edge and Christian but would drop the titles back to them, who were disguised as Los Conquistadores at No Mercy 2000. Their reign lasted 28 days, which would be their third-longest reign as tag team champions.
2 World Tag Team Championship - 2007 (6th Reign)
The night after WrestleMania 23, saw the reformation of the Hardys back on top of the tag team mountain. Jeff was on Raw whilst Matt was on Smackdown. The pair had gone their separate ways but they managed to win their sixth World Tag Team titles in a 10-man team battle royal, taking the titles from the dysfunctional duo of WWE Champion John Cena and Shawn Michaels.
The Hardys would retain their titles against Lance Cade and Trevor Murdoch at Backlash and Judgment Day 2007. Their final successful defense was in one of the best Ladder matches you will ever see. They faced off against the World Greatest's Tag Team comprised of Shelton Benjamin and Charlie Haas at One Night Stand 2007. Their refreshing run as champions would end on the July 4, 2007, episode of Monday Night Raw against Cade and Murdoch bringing a halt to their longest reign with those particular titles to 63 days.
1 Raw Tag Team Championship - 2017 (1st Reign)
One of the greatest moments in WrestleMania history occurred at WrestleMania 33 in 2017 as The Hardys made their triumphant unannounced return to the WWE. They made up for lost time as the crowd went berserk in one of the most heartfelt moments. The Hardys claimed their eighth Tag Team Titles together by climbing the ladder and receiving a deserved standing ovation from those in attendance.
Their reign would last 64 days, making it their longest reign as tag team champions. The following night on Raw, The Hardys would retain the title over former champions Luke Gallows and Karl Anderson. At Payback, the Hardys would retain over The Bar's Sheamus and Cesaro but drop the titles to them in a Steel Cage match at Extreme Rules.
