If the idea of blowing out your hair at home sends chills down your spine, this new method of achieving a healthy, voluminous look is exactly what you need. Hairstylist Raven Hurtado raves about the faux out method for her clients who want to freshen up a blowout without having to reach for their blow dryer, per PopSugar. It does require hot tools, however. You'll need a classic clip curling iron and duck clips to achieve the look.

And yet, mastering a curling iron is much easier than mastering a blow dryer. If you want to stay away from heat, you can also switch out the curling iron with velcro rollers. To start, divide your hair up into large sections, curling each section upwards with your iron and securing it with the duck clips while the hair still feels hot to the touch. Once you get through each section of your hair, let it sit until cool — give or take 20 minutes — before removing the clips.

Flip your hair over and brush through the curls with a paddle brush, finishing the look off with a holding spray.
