Rapper XXXTentacion 'pronounced dead' after being shot

Revenge rapper XXXTentacion has reportedly been shot dead while leaving a Miami motorcycle dealership.

Broward County Sheriff's Department told TMZ the 20-year-old Florida native, born Jahseh Dwayne Onfroy, had been shopping for motorcycles when a "gunman driving a black Dodge Journey ran up to his vehicle and shot him" shortly before 4pm local time.

The department announced the rapper died at 5.40pm.

A Louis Vuitton bag was reportedly stolen from his vehicle as well, the Daily Mail reported.

Dispatch audio previously revealed XXXTentacion was "comatose" and classified as a "Level 1 trauma patient" when rushed to the hospital.

"Witnesses say they heard multiple shots fired," a source told the site, adding it may have been a drive-by shooting.

Curiously, the hip-hop star and Piper High School drop-out Insta-storied that he was "planning a charity event for this weekend in Florida" earlier that day.The Look at Me rapper was jailed in December after a 2016 arrest for aggravated battery of a pregnant woman, and he spent six months in prison for a 2015 armed home invasion, according to Pitchfork.
