Professional Background
My primary clinical focus is Gastrointestinal and Liver pathology. Before becoming a member of the faculty at KU Pathology, I pursued Pathology residency at Mount Sinai Health System in New York, where I was also a chief resident. During my residency, I participated in the resident education committee as well as in the ASCP Pathology ambassador committee. I stayed in New York for another year and completed Surgical pathology fellowship at Memorial Sloan Kettering Cancer Center. Following that I pursued GI and Liver Pathology Fellowship from Beth Israel Deaconess Medical Center in Boston.
