NXT's first premium live event of 2023 is almost upon us. An event that will indicate what to expect from the ever-changing brand in the year ahead. The last two years have been turbulent ones for NXT, but Vengeance Day has become an annual tradition. The event will also mark a return to the road for NXT as it heads to Charlotte, North Carolina. As for how and when you can watch Vengeance Day, the PLE goes down on Saturday, February 4 and will begin at 8 PM EST. US fans can watch the show live on Peacock, while others around the world will need to tune in to the WWE Network or whatever service carries it in your part of the world.

Chase U has been added to the men's Tag Team Title match.

Bron Breakker vs. Grayson Waller in a Steel Cage Match for the NXT Championship

Grayson Waller appeared to be unexpectedly on the road to dethroning Bron Breakker for the NXT Title at New Year's Evil. The match only ended because of a rope coming loose as Waller tried to climb back in the ring, resulting in him being counted out.

To eliminate the risk of that happening again, Waller and Breakker's rematch will be inside a steel cage at Vengeance Day. Breakker has been champion for a while now, and with the charisma Waller has, it very much feels like we might see the title change hands in this one.

Roxanne Perez vs. Gigi Dolin vs. Jacy Jayne for the NXT Women's Championship

Any fear that the rest of Toxic Attraction would be lost in the shuffle following Mandy Rose's release was quickly eradicated when Jacy Jayne and Gigi Dolin earned shots at the Women's Title. Doing so by eliminating each other at the exact same time in a battle royal.

Before that, the cracks between them started to show as they battled to be the sole winner of that match. The want to be champion will likely overcome both women in this match, allowing Roxanne Perez to capitalize on the chaos and retain her title.

The New Day vs. Gallus vs. Pretty Deadly vs. Chase U for the NXT Tag Team Championships

New Day strolled into NXT at Deadline and immediately beat Pretty Deadly for the Tag Team Titles. Gallus won the chance to challenge Xavier Woods and Kofi Kingston for those titles, but the former champions have managed to weasel their way into the match as well.

New Day winning the championships always felt like a transitional thing. Gallus coming back also feels pretty significant. The Scottish group picking up a victory in this one and feuding with Pretty Deadly moving forward, while New Day returns to the main roster, seems likely.

Wes Lee vs. Dijak for the NXT North American Championship

Like Toxic Attraction, Wes Lee was likely someone fans worried about when his MSK partner was released. Lee has gone from strength to strength as a singles star though and at Vengeance Day, he defends the North American Title against Dijak.

Despite their clashing styles, this feels like a sleeper contender for match of the night. It might also be the trickiest match to predict. Lee's reign feels like it has more to it, but it feels just as likely Dijak will win this one after a hard-fought battle, further leaving his T-Bar era in the past.

Apollo Crews vs. Carmelo Hayes in a Two out of Three Falls Match

Carmelo Hayes has become synonymous with the North American Title lately, but has distanced himself from the championship to feud with Apollo Crews. Nothing on the line in this one. Just a two out of three falls match which will have a very strong chance of stealing the entire show.

When it comes to a winner, it's a tricky one to call. With Crews likely to be staying in NXT for a while, and Hayes potentially nearing a call-up, perhaps it'll be the younger star who picks up a win to make him feel more legitimate when that day comes.

Katana Chance and Kayden Carter vs. Kiana James and Fallin Henley for the NXT Women's Tag Team Championships

The NXT Women's Tag Titles have felt a little directionless for a while. Even before Mandy Rose was released and Toxic Attraction started chasing their former leader's title instead it felt a little like there was a lack of challengers for the titles. This match might well be a chance to change that.

Kayden Carter and Katana Chance have held the titles longer than anyone else in NXT history. That the titles haven't really been elevated by that is pretty telling. WWE may as well roll the dice on Fallon Henley and Kiana James in this one as if they do well with the belts, not only will it elevate the gold, but it'll add another legitimate team to the division.
