New Guardians of the Galaxy Vol. 3 image reveals Adam Warlock

One of the most anticipated upcoming films from the Marvel Cinematic Universe is James Gunn's Guardians of the Galaxy Vol. 3. The film starring Chris Pratt, Zoe Saldana and others is the third and final Guardians-centric instalment. Now, Marvel has revealed a new image of Adam Warlock from the film.

Fans have been speculating about Adam Warlock's arrival in the MCU since Thor: The Dark World's post-credits scene featuring a cocoon. Played by Will Poulter, the character is a powerful hero. The new image unveiled by Empire sees Adam Warlock suit up.

Poulter appears in full costume with golden skin. The suit borrows elements from the comic books including the red and gold colour combination.While the character is a hero in the comics, the post-credits scene of Guardians of the Galaxy Vol. 2 reveals that he's out to defeat the Guardians.
