Kuch Kuch Hota Hai's song Tujhe Yaad Na Meri Aayee to get a 2.0 version

Filmmaker Karan Johar has had an exceptional year filled with reasons to celebrate. He made a triumphant return to the director's chair after a seven-year hiatus with his quintessential Bollywood movie, Rocky Aur Rani Kii Prem Kahaani, which quickly won over audiences. Furthermore, his beloved creation, Kuch Kuch Hota Hai, featuring Shah Rukh Khan, Kajol, and Rani Mukerji, will be celebrating its 25th anniversary in 2023. This timeless classic still holds a special place in viewers' hearts and has achieved cult status.

To mark this significant event, Karan has announced his intention to remake one of the movie's most famous songs, Tujhe Yaad Na Meri Aayee.

On Tuesday, a music label of K2H2 gave fans a nostalgic moment on Instagram. To add to the thrill, Karan Johar posted it on his Instagram Stories with a captivating caption, "Version 2.0 Watch this space!"

For those who are not familiar, the first version of the song was sung beautifully by Udit Narayan, Alka Yagnik, and Manpreet Akhtar. It was composed by the duo Jatin-Lalit with lyrics by Sameer. The song was featured in a scene with Shah Rukh Khan, Kajol, and Rani Mukerji. According to the announcement, B Praak and Jaani will be involved in the new rendition.
