WWE cleared out a lot of its Superstars throughout 2021. Two names to be wished well in their future endeavors were Keith Lee and Mia Yim. Neither wrestler has appeared elsewhere just yet, nor hinted at where and when they might show up next. In fairness, Lee's non-compete clause only recently expired, so he hasn't been able to continue his career just yet.
Lee And Yim Tie The Knot
The real-life couple also used their time off to tie the knot. Lee and Yim have been engaged since last February, and together for even longer than that. Various wrestling guests at their wedding, which took place over the weekend, have been posting photos of the ceremony over the weekend. The guest list included Tegan Nox, Shelton Benjamin, and Damian Priest, and it sounds like Mick Foley officiated.

Nox posted a terrific snap of Yim and Lee dancing, while another photo shows them cutting their cake. Tiny replicas of the newlyweds can be seen atop the cake, with the pretty neat added detail of Star Wars outfits. Mini Yim is a Storm Trooper, while Lee is either Darth Vader or Kylo Ren, it's hard to tell.
What's Next?
Lee and Yim's wedding might well be the culmination of their time off. Wrestling Twitter has been abuzz the past few days after Tony Khan revealed someone big will be debuting for AEW on Dynamite this week. Someone who has passed through The Forbidden Door and will slam it shut behind them. A lot of fans think that someone could be Lee since, as mentioned above, he is no longer bound by a non-compete clause.
Since the mystery debutant will be wrestling against Isaiah Kassidy on their debut, it probably isn't going to be Yim. Then again, that's a more likely outcome than the recently scorned Shane McMahon showing up which some people have convinced themselves will happen. Even if Yim doesn't show up in AEW this week, she would be a terrific pickup for the company as it continues to build and strengthen its women's division.
