The pair attended the MTV Movie & TV Awards together on Sunday, May 16, 2021. The duo was arm and arm as Hartley sported a pair of navy blue slacks and a light blue collared shirt with a dark jacket over top. Meanwhile, Pernas stole the show in a strapless orange gown. However, their wardrobe wasn't what caught the eyes of fans, per Page Six. Both Hartley and Pernas were spotted wearing bands on their left ring fingers. Pernas rocked a slim diamond sparkler on her hand, while the "This Is Us" star also sported a ring on his finger, fueling marriage rumors.

Of course, this isn't the first time that the couple has created buzz about a possible engagement or secret wedding. Earlier in May 2021, Hartley and Pernas were spotted enjoying a date in Malibu while both wearing rings on their left hand. Hartley rocked a red band around his finger, and Pernas opted for a silver ring as they spent time with friends on the beach. However, neither party has commented on the marriage rumors thus far.
