John Cena has posted a hilarious reaction to the announcement over his WWE return. The iconic veteran has mostly been away from the promotion as he's now a full-fledged movie star. But, with WrestleMania on the horizon, it's been disclosed that he will be involved in SmackDown at the end of February.
WWE Backstage reported the news and WWE followed up with a tweet.
"BREAKING: As first reported on #WWEBackstage, @JohnCena returns to #SmackDown on Friday, Feb. 28!" it read.

Well, Cena also took to Twitter on Wednesday morning to get his own take in. The superstar posted an image advertising upcoming film The Invisible Man, thanking WWE for letting him return to SD to promote "a project nearly 20 years in the making." What makes this even funnier is the fact that the movie is also set to release on February 28.
This is all in reference to his famous catchphrase, "You can't see me," which is being applied in certain jokes involving the 16-time World Champion even now.
In case you were wondering, Cena isn't part of the movie's cast. However, he's landed a role in the upcoming Fast & Furious 9, which drops on May 22. The wrestler-turned-Hollywood star was introduced as the newest member of the Fast & Furious family last year and F9, as it's also called, will serve as his debut.
What's Next For WWE?
As it pertains to the wrestling side of things, it's hoped that Cena will be at WrestleMania this year. He bounced through as the Dr. of Thuganomics at WrestleMania 35 nearly a year ago but wasn't part of a match.
Whether his return at the end of February will fire up a storyline leading to WWE's grandest stage is something left to when the show comes around. But this is all pretty exciting.
