After achieving an honors B.A. in Journalism, with German, from the Dublin Institute of Technology, Joey has worked steadily as a journalist covering the entertainment industry. She's contributed to the vastly varied likes of Wicked Horror, Birth Movies Death, Vague Visages, Girls on Tops, and Screen Queenz, alongside many others. Joey joined Static Media in 2017 and has spent the intervening years putting her pop culture obsession to good use by covering everything from "RuPaul's Drag Race" to the British royal family with an equal amount of unabashed enthusiasm. Originally a features writer for The List, Joey joined their burgeoning news team as one of its first recruits and now serves as an editor.
