Ivan Hall In A Relationship With College Girlfriend

Bachelor in Paradise alum Ivan Hall is currently in a relationship with his ex girlfriend from college. He believes that the two are a perfect match.

Bachelor in Paradise season 7 cast member Ivan Hall has announced that he has recently gotten back together with his girlfriend from college, and as a result will not be returning to Bachelor in Paradise this summer. Ivan's journey on Bachelor in Paradise set off on a positive note, when he quickly formed a connection with Jessenia Cruz who had appeared on Matt James' season of The Bachelor. When Jessenia ended up breaking things off with Ivan to explore a relationship with Chris Conran, he briefly explored where things could go with other women on the beach including Kendall Long and Chelsea Vaughn. By the end of the season, Ivan had not been successful in establishing a strong relationship and ended up leaving the show as a result of breaking the rules to go visit Alexa Caves off camera.

Ivan made his first appearance of the franchise during The Bachelorette season 16, when he was introduced first to Clare Crawley then to Tayshia Adams upon Clare's quick engagement to Dale Moss. Ivan and Tayshia formed a quick connection, bonding over things such as their family values as well as both of them being biracial. Tayshia ultimately eliminated Ivan during fantasy suites, as the two discovered they had irreconcilable differences when it came to their views on religion.

While Ivan may have left Bachelor in Paradise without love, it seems that he has finally found it in real life. Ivan recently shared with Us Weekly that he has reunited with his ex-girlfriend from college, and the two are now in an official relationship. Ivan stated, "We actually go way back. I met her in college. She went to a different school than me." He continued, "We dated a little bit, then spent some time apart. She went to med school. I moved to Florida for an engineering job and stuff like that." While there was never any bad blood between the two, it was logistical factors that ultimately did not allow for them to work out at the time.

Ivan also admitted that he has always had a gut feeling things could work out long term with his current girlfriend. He explained, "Things kind of just randomly work out. Who would've thought I would've taken this detour in life, going on The Bachelorette and my Florida job and all that stuff. And then she randomly gets a job in Dallas now and lives not too far from me. It all works out at the end of the day. I'm very happy right now." Luckily for Ivan, it appears that the logistics that once separated him and his girlfriend have been resolved, leaving the two in a very positive place for their relationship to work right now.

While a key issue in many of Ivan's Bachelor Nation relationships seemed to be compatibility, this is not at all the case with his new beau. Ivan said that the two are a very good match and have great chemistry to go along with that. Ivan certainly made a few mistakes on Bachelor In Paradise, but fans have still nonetheless been rooting for Ivan to find love whether it be on or off screen. While Ivan will not be returning to the beach this summer, fans will have plenty of other familiar faces to watch on the upcoming Bachelor In Paradise season 8.
