How would Ash’s Infernape do in a battle with Cynthia’s Garchomp?

Most of you are probably thinking; Flint’s Infernape wasn’t able to beat it so Ash’s wouldn’t have a chance!

Others are probably saying; Infernape’s Blaze is incredible it is virtually invincible while it is using it.

Well Flint’s Infernape was the only Pokemon seen in the anime that came close to defeating Garchomp in battle (besides Palmer’s Milotic seen in a movie opening). However, it is unknown how strong Ash’s Infernape is using Blaze because of its abnormal power. Blaze boosts its move by 1.5x but Ash’s has something special inside of it’s so its power is not known.

See, Ash’s Infernape has great speed and power at normal power, but its maximum can only be obtained after it has suffered a lot of damage so even if it did activate Blaze one hit from Garchomp could take it out of the battle.

Its move set; Flare Blitz, Flamethrower, Dig and Mach Punch are good but it just seems like Ash could do a little improvement like teach it more powerful attacks like Close Combat or something like that. Flint’s had Garchomp on the ropes it was a great battle too bad we didn’t get to see the entire 3 on 3 battle.

Anyway, I think that Ash’s would put up a good fight, but I don’t think that it would win unless it got a lot of training in while at Oak’s (assuming that it is there). Not to mention that Cynthia saw Infernape’s power with her own eyes (wonder why they didn’t get reactions from her or the audience when Blaze got activated I mean the entire stadium was red with the crimson flames and we didn’t hear anyone cheer or scream out of fear!!).
