How BMC Remedy AR System converts character sets - Documentation for Remedy Action Request System 20.02

It is possible to convert all characters from any character set supported by BMC Remedy AR System into Unicode. It is not possible, however, to convert all Unicode characters into any other single character set. Where such conversion is not possible, BMC Remedy AR System replaces the characters in question with another character.
