Only few weeks are left for the grandest event of WWE to take place. As WrestleMania 39 is approaching closer, WWE creatives are trying every possible way to glue the viewers to their seats.
From setting more matches to teasing new pairings, WWE is coming with new surprises for its viewers every week. This week’s Monday Night Raw was no different. It was full of exciting moments. But, the segment that grabbed the attention of the fans was the one where Rey and Dominik Mysterio confronted each other.
On this week’s Raw, Dominik Mysterio challenged his father to a WrestleMania match. However, Rey refused to accept saying he didn’t want to fight his own son. But it doesn’t seem like Dom will stop here.

Dominik Mysterio stepped inside the professional wrestling world in 2019 when his father Rey Mysterio decided to chase the United States championship. For more than a year, he was not set for any match, until August 2020, when he got his first match at WWE SummerSlam.
Dominik captured the WWE SmackDown tag team championship in 2021, along with his father. However, it didn’t play a significant role in his career. But the tables turned when Dominik turned heel and joined ‘The Judgement Day’. That move by WWE ended up being a huge turning point in junior Mysterio’s wrestling career.
WWE Universe loved the family drama between the Mysterios. Even the ‘baddest woman on the planet’ Ronda Rousey praised Dominik’s new storyline. And now, fans are expecting to see Dominik competing against his father at Wrestlemania 39.
