Gadar 2 starring Sunny Deol and Ameesha Patel in the lead and helmed by Anil Sharma was a roaring success. It created box-office history which probably led the production house to green-lit Gadar 3.


The director was quoted on a leading entertainment portal, stating, "Yes, Tara Singh will be back, as we have locked in the basic idea of Gadar 3. I am presently shooting with Utkarsh and Nana Patekar for my next directorial journey and will start working on the Gadar 3 script very soon."
