He will be sorely missed. The Rock was among many who posted notes about the former WWE star. He wrote: "Man I’m so sorry to hear one of our ring brothers has passed away. Darren Drozdov aka Droz. We wrestled on a lot of cards together. Such an awesome dude. Great personality and great wrestling talent. We always talked about football and fishing. Sending love, strength, mana and light to his family. RIP brother."

Darren Drozdov, known by his ring name "Droz," had a brief but memorable career in the World Wrestling Federation (now WWE) during the late 1990s. Drozdov was born on April 13, 1969, in Neptune, New Jersey, and began his wrestling journey in various independent promotions before catching the attention of the WWF. Droz signed with the WWF and the company immediately looked to take advantage of an odd talent he had where he could make himself puke. They called him that before the gimmick was changed and he eventually joined up with "The Legion of Doom." He aligned himself with Hawk and Animal, who were legendary tag team wrestlers.
