In 1997, D-Generation X was born, and they became one of the greatest factions in WWE history. DX has gone through various iterations with a change of personnel, and they had been versatile as both babyfaces and heels. DX was rebellious and involved in many memorable skits which made them popular with fans around the world.RELATED: DX: Every Member, Ranked By In-Ring SkillsAs with the majority of stables, not every faction stays together for good. DX did break up, and every member went their separate ways. Some members had the best run in their careers as a member of DX, and others thrived on their lonesome. Nevertheless, some members of DX had some legendary matches throughout their careers, which fans fondly remember.
10 Tori: Vs. Ivory - SummerSlam 1999
Tori joined DX in 2000 when she began a relationship with X-Pac. She was featured strongly in the women's division in 1999. Unfortunately, her matches were not good, and her Women's Championship match with Ivory at SummerSlam wasn't good, but Ivory made something out of it.
Tori did get some offense in, and she executed a picture-perfect Tori-plex onto Ivory. The match was far from great, and the finish was unconventional with Ivory landing square on Tori's face to retain the Women's Championship.
9 Hornswoggle: Vs. El Torito - Extreme Rules 2014
The rivalry between Hornswoggle and El Torito was short-lived, but it was entertaining. Hornswoggle wrestled sporadically in WWE, and he faced off with El Torito in a surprisingly good WeeLC match on the kick-off show at Extreme Rules 2014.
Hornswoggle wasn't on his lonesome as 3MB were on his side, and El Torito had Los Matadores in his corner. They did their very best in a contest that lasted almost 11 minutes. Ultimately, Hornswoggle lost the match as El Torito put him through the table with a Seated Senton.
8 Road Dogg: Vs. Al Snow - Raw (1/4/99)
Road Dogg became an integral part of D-Generation X when Triple H undertook leadership on the Raw after WrestleMania 14. Dogg dipped into the Hardcore division, and he defended the Hardcore Championship against Al Snow on the January 4, 1999, edition of Raw.
This match was right up Road Dogg's alley as he thrived in these hardcore environments. It was a cold night in Worcester, Massachusetts with snow covering the ground. Nevertheless, Dogg and Snow didn't care as they battled outside. Dogg planted Snow through the table with a Piledriver, and he hung onto his Hardcore Championship.
7 Billy Gunn: w/ Road Dogg, Triple H & Savio Vega Vs. Steve Austin, Owen Hart, Cactus Jack & Chainsaw Charlie - No Way Out Of Texas: In Your House, 1998
Billy Gunn had one of the finest nights in his wrestling career as he was a part of a non-sanctioned eight-man tag team match at No Way Out of Texas: In Your House in February 1998. WWE Champion Shawn Michaels was on the sidelines as he sustained a serious back injury at the Royal Rumble with Savio Vega replacing him.

Weapons were used in this war of attrition, and there were some brilliant exchanges with fans enjoying the match. In the end, the Outlaws, Triple H, and Vega came up short with Steve Austin, Owen Hart, Cactus Jack, and Chainsaw Charlie prevailing.
6 Chyna: Vs. Jeff Jarrett - No Mercy 1999
After a few close calls, Chyna challenged Jeff Jarrett for the Intercontinental Championship once again at No Mercy 1999. The Ninth Wonder of the World was bidding to become the first woman to hold a major male singles championship in WWE.
Their Good Housekeeping match was remarkable, and Chyna held her own against Double J who was departing WWE. Jarrett thought that he had outsmarted Chyna by hitting her with the Intercontinental Title belt. However, the Intercontinental Championship was not a "household item". Chyna thumped Jarrett in the head with a guitar, and she covered Jarrett to become the first woman to win the Intercontinental Championship.
5 Rick Rude: Vs. Ricky Steamboat - Beach Blast 1992
It's easy to forget that Rick Rude was a member of D-Generation X. The Ravishing One was a member of the first incarnation of DX as an enforcer. Nevertheless, Rude's best match in his career came at Beach Blast 1992 against Ricky Steamboat, with whom he feuded in WWE.
Rude and Steamboat clashed in an enticing Iron Man match. Rude was the reigning WCW United States Champion, but the championship was not on the line. Rude raced out to a 2-0 lead, but the Dragon rallied back to take a 3-2 lead. The match was an instant classic, and Steamboat prevailed, although he did not take the US Title home as it was a non-title match.
4 Stephanie McMahon: w/ Triple H Vs. Ronda Rousey & Kurt Angle - WrestleMania 34
Stephanie McMahon isn't an in-ring technician by any stretch of the imagination, but she gives it her all whenever she steps foot in a ring. The Billion Dollar Princess teamed up with her husband Triple H, and they clashed with Ronda Rousey and Kurt Angle in a mixed tag team match at WrestleMania 34.

They hit a home run in arguably the greatest mixed tag team match in WWE history. It was Stephanie's first match at WrestleMania, and she did everything in her power to keep Rousey at bay. Rousey excelled in her debut WWE match, and Stephanie finally succumbed to Rousey's armbar in one heck of a match that had fans intrigued as soon as the bell sounded.
3 The 1-2-3 Kid: Vs. Bret Hart - Raw (7/11/94)
On the July 11, 1994, edition of Raw, The 1-2-3 Kid was presented with an opportunity of a lifetime as he challenged Bret Hart for the WWE Championship. This was the opening match of the night, and The 1-2-3 Kid conceded that this was the best match in his career.
This was a 17-minute bout, and it was technical wrestling in the highest order. The 1-2-3 Kid pushed Bret to the limit, but Hart's patented Sharpshooter was enough to bail him out of trouble. Bret showed his class afterward and the pair embraced with Hart acknowledging The 1-2-3 Kid's efforts.
2 Triple H: Vs. Steve Austin - No Way Out 2001
Triple H became the undisputed leader of D-Generation X in 1998 after Shawn Michaels departed WWE after WrestleMania 14. The Game excelled as the leader of DX, and a year later, he became WWE Champion for the first time. Established as a top star, Triple H and his bitter rival Steve Austin went toe-to-toe in a Three Stages of Hell match at No Way Out 2001.
It was an epic, and both Triple H and Austin were at the top of their game. Triple H dropped the first fall to Austin in a standard wrestling match. However, Triple H won two straight falls in a Street Fight and Steel Cage match, which was one of the finest wins in his career.
1 Shawn Michaels: Vs. The Undertaker - WrestleMania 25
In the summer of 1997, Shawn Michaels turned heel, and he formed D-Generation X alongside Triple H, Chyna, and Rick Rude. Unfortunately, Michaels' time as leader of DX was cut short because of his back injury which ruled him out of action for four years. Michaels came back better than ever in 2002, and he continued to string together some excellent matches.
The best match in Michaels' career came against The Undertaker at WrestleMania 25. They should have headlined the show, but they didn't. The false finishes and near falls had fans on the edge of their seats. The drama unfolded, and Michaels came tantalizingly close to breaking the Streak, but it was not meant to be. Undertaker planted Michaels with a Tombstone Piledriver to go 17-0 at WrestleMania.
