The Shield is perhaps one of the most dominant factions of all time, and there has been no star in history, as dominant as Brock Lesnar. After The Shield split up, WWE pushed Seth Rollins, Roman Reigns and Dean Ambrose to the main-event, and each of them battled The Beast Incarnate.

With Lesnar being a fixture in the main-event since his return to the promotion in 2012, it was only a matter of time before he crossed paths with the members of The Shield. Lesnar has worked a number of matches against all of them over the years. Some have been fantastic, some not so much, and a couple have been downright terrible. Here's every Brock Lesnar match against a member of The Shield, ranked from worst to best. (Except The Beast's Money in the Bank cash-in, which wasn't really a match).
11 Lesnar Vs. Reigns (WrestleMania 34)
By the time Roman Reigns challenged Brock Lesnar for the Universal Championship in the main-event of WrestleMania 34, they had already met in the ring on countless occasions.
No one wanted to see another Reigns coronation and Lesnar's reign as champion was a drag. The match itself was also terrible, with Lesnar destroying Reigns with ease, while the crowd chanted, "this is awful". Reigns kicking out of multiple F5s also did nothing to endear him to audiences. Lesnar retaining his championship was an interesting swerve, but fans could not have cared less; they were just glad the match was over.
10 Lesnar Vs. Ambrose (WrestleMania 32)
After Roman Reigns pinned Dean Ambrose to become the number one contender to Triple H's WWE World Heavyweight Championship, Ambrose segued into a feud with the third man involved in their match; Brock Lesnar.
Ambrose challenged Lesnar to a No Holds Barred Street Fight at WrestleMania 32, which The Beast accepted. Fans were excited to see Ambrose bring his hardcore expertise to WWE, but unfortunately, the match did not live to expectations. It was a run-of-the-mill hardcore match that failed to interest or excite audiences. It was also extremely short, clocking in at about 13 minutes, before a disinterested Lesnar picked up the win.
9 Lesnar Vs. Reigns (Greatest Royal Rumble 2018)
After losing to Lesnar in the main-event of Wrestlemania 34, Reigns got another shot at the gold just a couple of weeks later at the Greatest Royal Rumble in Saudi Arabia, this time in a Steel Cage match.
Their rematch was considerably better than their last outing, but it was still below-average. While it was even more hard-hitting than before, it was difficult to be invested in this overlong feud. The ending was also a cop-out; with Reigns spearing Lesnar through the cage, but The Beast retaining because his feet hit the ground first. The ending rendered the entire match pointless and did nothing for either man.
8 Lesnar Vs. Reigns (SummerSlam 2018)
WWE knew that it could have a riot on its hands if it booked Brock Lesnar and Roman Reings in yet another straightforward single's match in the main-event of SummerSlam. That's why it sent out Mr. Money in the Bank, Braun Strowman as soon as the match got under way.
The unpredictability the Monster Among Men offered, went someway towards calming down audiences, with him even figuring into the finish, which allowed Reigns to win the Universal Championship. The match overall though, was still just average at best.
7 Lesnar Vs. Rollins (Battleground 2015)
Brock Lesnar got the chance to win back his WWE World Heavyweight Championship in the main-event of Battleground in 2015. As The Authority's Golden Boy, Rollins had ascended to the main-event of the promotion.

Lesnar dominated most of the match, while Rollins tried his best to get in bouts of offence whenever he could. The match never arrived at a proper conclusion, as The Undertaker arrived just as Lesnar hit Rollins with an F-5. 'Taker dropped the man who ended The Streak with a Chokeslam and two Tombstone Piledrivers, setting up WWE's feud of the summer that year.
6 Lesnar Vs. Rollins Vs. Reigns (WrestleMania 31)
When Roman Reigns won the 2015 Royal Rumble, he became the biggest villain in the eyes of fans. The build to his match with Brock Lesnar was also uninspired and heading into the main-event of WrestleMania 31, fans weren't too excited. Lesnar and Reigns didn't wrestle, it was a fight.
With Lesnar busted open, Reigns had a real chance at beating The Beast. But then, Seth Rollins' music played as he sprinted down the ring to cash-in his Money in the Bank briefcase. Rollins pulled off the Heist of the Century, when he pinned Roman Reigns to become the new WWE World Heavyweight Champion. It was one of the greatest Wrestlemania moments of all time.
5 Lesnar Vs. Ambrose Vs. Reigns (Fastlane 2016)
Roman Reigns, Dean Ambrose and Brock Lesnar met in the main-event of Fastlane to determine the number one contender to Triple H's WWE World Heavyweight Championship in the main-event of Wrestlemania 32. After a brief bout of Lesnar dominance, Reigns and Ambrose teamed up to put him out of commission.
Reigns and Ambrose beat the living hell out of each other, before Lesnar returned and trapped Reigns in the Kimura Lock. Ambrose's intervention opened the door for Reigns to hit him with a Spear and win the match. It was a strong effort from all three men involved, but it was like any above-average triple-threat match.
4 Lesnar Vs. Rollins (WrestleMania 35)
When Rollins won the Royal Rumble in 2019, he dedicated himself to ridding the WWE of Brock Lesnar and him holding the Universal Championship hostage. WWE threw everyone a curveball at WrestleMania 35, by having Paul Heyman announce that Lesnar was ready to fight at the beginning of the event.
Rollins came to the ring, not completely ready for the biggest fight of his life. Both men beat the living daylights of out each other. Just like Lesnar's match with Goldberg at WrestleMania 33, the match was mostly finishers, but the crowd ate all of it up. The match ended with the right man winning (thanks to a low blow), as Rollins swinging the Universal Championship over his head got WrestleMania off to a great start.
3 Lesnar Vs. Rollins (SummerSlam 2019)
Brock Lesnar cashed-in his Money in the Bank briefcase to take back his Universal Championship towards the end of Extreme Rules. A tired, beaten-down Rollins didn't stand a chance.

Rollins walked into the high-profile rematch at SummerSlam with heavily bandaged ribs, something The Beast took immediate advantage of. The Rollins injury added an interesting wrinkle to their match, which once against relied heavily on finishers. But this time, an injured, hurting Rollins went over clean, as he did not have to rely on a well-timed low-blow to slay The Beast. The live audience ate all of it up.
2 Lesnar Vs. Samoa Joe Vs. Braun Strowman Vs. Reigns (SummerSlam 2017)
The main-event of SummerSlam 2017 was a barn-burner. With Lesnar, Joe, Strowman and Reigns involved, WWE had four powerhouses capable of causing absolute carnage. Strowman went on an early tear which left Lesnar in need of medical attention.
With The Beast out of action, Strowman took the fight to Joe and Reigns. When Lesnar found his way back to the ring, the action broke down, with each man getting a real chance at walking away as the Universal Champion. Lesnar ended up retaining his gold after dropping Reigns with an F-5. Even though the championship did not change hands, Strowman and Joe looked like absolute stars.
1 Lesnar Vs. Cena Vs. Rollins (Royal Rumble 2015)
John Cena became the new number one contender to Brock Lesnar's WWE World Heavyweight Championship after beating Seth Rollins at TLC in 2014. Rollins found his way into the match as a gift from Triple H after he had The Authority re-instated.
The ensuing triple threat match was truly phenomenal. Lesnar was absolutely dominant, throwing Rollins and Cena around with reckless abandon. Rollins took down The Beast with a breath-taking elbow drop through the announcer's table.
Lesnar soon returned with renewed vigor, took out Cena and then dropped Rollins with an F-5 to win the match. The action was fast-paced and brutal, every man had a real chance of winning the contest and Seth Rollins proved he belonged in the main-event, with a star-making performance.
