The show opens with the murder of maid Fleur Hegazi on a summer night of June 2023, and a man by the name of Eddie Sultan is arrested for the crime, which he allegedly did not commit it. His mother, Maryam takes a job as a local Cannes maid for Thérèse and Michael Sylvestre in order to befriend three other local maids that were once friends with Fleur.
