Battlestate Games has finally released an abundance of information surrounding the Escape from Tarkov Arena release, mentioning game modes, ranking systems, and game functionality all during their presence at Gamescom Cologne, 2023. Alongside the exciting news, Battlestate Games has released the ability to pre-order Escape from Tarkov Arena via another Escape from Tarkov website. For those who don't know, Escape from Tarkov Arena is acting as Escape from Tarkov's first DLC, meaning players who don't obtain the season pass are going to have to purchase the title. However, if you obtain the "Edge of Darkness" edition, Arena will be free.

How To Pre-Order Escape from Tarkov Arena

Players who obtain the following copies of Escape from Tarkov will be required to pay for Escape from Tarkov Arena separately:

  • Escape from Tarkov: Standard Edition
  • Escape from Tarkov: Left Behind Edition
  • Escape from Tarkov: Prepare for Escape Edition

However, players who obtain the "Escape from Tarkov: Edge of Darkness Edition" will be granted access to Arena for free. Alongside this, anyone who pre-orders the title or owns Edge of Darkness will have the ability to play early access closed beta test for Arena will be released shortly, hopefully within the next few months.

To pre-purchase your copy of Escape from Tarkov Arena, head to where you can purchase the title for €37.00 before VAT. Simply click on the top right icon of the homepage saying "Pre-Order" where you'll be navigated to make payment.

Escape From Tarkov Arena - How Will It Work?

Once Escape from Tarkov Arena is released, we're presuming the option to launch Arena mode will be either integrated into the Escape from Tarkov main menu, or you'll be prompted at launch whether or not you want to play Escape from Tarkov or Arena. It has been confirmed that despite the titles looking like different entities, players' progress will link between the two games, and player progress within Arena will effect the main title, Escape from Tarkov.
