Eddie Kingston is one of the top names in the business right now, being someone who has made a huge impact since joining AEW.His promos have got the world talking with his realistic approach, while his matches have more than lived up to the hype that he has created.

But long before that Kingston was wowing wrestling fans, and he has been able to have a long and meaningful career to this point. There have been plenty of ups and downs for him, but the one consistent element for Kingston is his ability to entertain a crowd with whatever he does.
10 Just Breaking Out
Eddie Kingston's career began all the way back in 2002, which showcases just how long he has been involved in the business, and many fans may not be aware of that. This shot showcases a much younger version of Kingston, and since that point, he has been able to kick on and have a lot of success.
Kingston started out working on the independent scene at this point and he made a big impact with his physical style which he has continued to develop since that point to grow as a performer.
9 CZW Feud With Chris Hero
One of the major feuds that Eddie Kingston had early on in his career was against Chris Hero, who he has feuded with over the years on the independent scene. This was particularly true at CZW where the two of them put together some violent hard-hitting matches which tapped into their genuine hatred.

Hero trained Kingston at the start of his career, but the two men don't like each other, and that was tapped into during a lengthy storyline between them in CZW where they competed for the CZW World Heavyweight Championship.
8 Chikara Grand Champion
Another promotion that Kingston was able to hold gold in was Chikara, which is where he worked for many years. They were the first big promotion to push him, and he got the opportunity to compete against a wide range of talents during that time to develop his skills.
In 2010 he captured the Chikara Grand Championship defeating Mike Quackenbush to become the first-ever wrestler to hold that title, showcasing just how highly the promotion rated him as a performer.
7 ROH Appearances
Eddie Kingston got the opportunity to work with Ring Of Honor for several years on and off, but in 2012 he began to become a more regular feature on the product. He got the chance to compete as a singles star and represent himself at a high level to keep growing as a performer.
Kingston competed against Kevin Steen at this point, who was one of the biggest names in the promotion. Kingston was able to win over the fans and climb up the card during this time as well, competing for the ROH World Championship at one stage.
6 Outlaw Inc
After competing in the singles division for ROH, Eddie Kingston then transitioned into the tag team world where he began working with Homicide, who is a legend for ROH. The two of them have been attached ever since that point, but in ROH they were pushed heavily.
The duo became Outlaw Inc. and they got the opportunity to work against a wide variety of the teams in the promotion, from reDRagon to The American Wolves, becoming one of the top teams in the company at that time.
5 Death Crew Council
Eddie Kingston then transitioned away from ROH in 2016 when he joined Impact Wrestling to be part of the Death Crew Council, who was a mysterious group that was compromised of Kingston, James Storm, and Bram. The trio proved to be popular together both with their promos and in-ring work.

Ultimately, the faction only lasted around a year and finished when Bram and Kingston kicked Storm out of the group, which saw them transition into different things, leaving this time behind them.
4 LAX
In 2018, Eddie Kingston ended up returning to Impact Wrestling, which saw him join the Latin Ameican Xchange, which was one of the most dominant and popular factions in the history of the promotion. Konnan had been attacked at this point, which led to Eddie (working as King) appearing to help them.
He fit into the faction perfectly with his promo technique and aggressive in-ring style being something that worked perfectly with this group, as he quickly got the wrestling world talking with his performances.
3 NWA Appearances
In 2019, Eddie Kingston ended up joining the NWA, which was making a comeback and providing some great opportunities for many top-tier talents. Kingston was one of those who was given a chance by NWA, and it didn't take long for him to amaze people with his promo skills.
He was able to reunite with Homicide by being involved in NWA, with the duo feuding against The Wild Cards and The Dawsons. This was the start of a huge rise for Kingston, as he quickly proved what a top-tier star that he is.
2 Reuniting With Moxley
His impressive work eventually led to an opportunity in AEW, eventually starting in the open challenge against Cody Rhodes, it didn't take long for Tony Khan to sign him. His history with Jon Moxley was then tapped into straight away as they competed as rivals and worked as partners at the same time.

It was a great idea by AEW, as it tapped into their legitimate history as friends. They battled in some hard-hitting matches that were extremely physical and it instantly put Kingston on the map to any casual fans who may not have been aware of him.
1 Feuding With Chris Jericho
Most recently, Eddie Kingston has found himself feuding with Chris Jericho which has led to an all-out war between factions. Things started just between them though, which led to Kingston defeating the former AEW World Champion to land his biggest singles win to date.
Since then, Kingston has reunited with Santana and Ortiz, while also pairing with the Blackpool Combat Club to feud with the Jericho Appreciation Society, continuing their current storyline.
