Marty Jannetty has said some incredible things on social media, but a recent post may be among his biggest head-scratchers yet. He seemingly admitted to at least one murder in a Facebook post that has people talking.
Since leaving the wrestling business, more specifically WWE, Jannetty has been a personality to watch on social media platforms like Facebook and Twitter because you never know what you're going to read. In posts that appear to be a feeble attempt to stay relevant, he talks about inappropriate relationships, seems to lie about a number of stories, and shocks followers with his openness towards drug abuse. But, a recent post might need to call for investigations and serious jail time if what he's claiming turns out to be true.
Jannetty took to Facebook and went on a homophobic rant about making someone "disappear". He wrote:
"I have never told no one this, even my brother Geno... cause Geno would've killed him, and I didn't wany my brother gone, hell, he'd only recently came home from Vietnam. I was 13, working at Victory Lanes bowling alley buying weed from a f-g that worked there.. and he put his hands on me.. he dragged me around the back of the building. you already know what he was gonna try to do.
That was the first time I made a man disappear... they never found him.. they shoulda.
When a follower asked if he was ok, Jannetty went on to say that he'd had a falling out with his girlfriend and that this story was from a billion years ago. He added, "I have the satisfaction of knowing that BIT-H a$$ ninja (it is assumed he typed something else first) never got to do another kid like that."
This Needs To Be Investigated
When Jannetty tells a story on social media, there is a grain of salt that must come with reading. That said, hinting that you have murdered someone, or that this might not be the first time you'd done so is a serious matter that shouldn't be ignored. There is no statute of limitations on a crime like that, so even though he claims this happened at 13, he could be convicted now.
That he says, "That was the very first time I made a man disappear...they never found him.", is perhaps the scariest part of the post.
At the very least, if Jannetty is claiming he was defending himself from a sexual assault, that should probably be looked into as well.
Update: According to TMZ, it appears the Police in Columbus, Georgia are reportedly investigating the former WWE Superstar. TMZ writes:
A spokesperson from the homicide/cold case division says, "The first step will be seeing if we have any missing persons or unidentified remains cases that match the limited information in the post."
