Conor McGregor ventured into the hospitality industry with a significant investment of around $2 million in 2020 when he acquired The Black Forge Inn, a Dublin bar. However, recent financial disclosures indicate that the establishment is still grappling with challenges.

According to records filed by Jemi Ventures, McGregor's company overseeing the pub, The Black Forge Inn incurred losses of 432,000 Euros in the previous year, equivalent to just over $600,000 U.S. dollars. The challenges persisted in 2021, with the pub recording losses totaling 1.13 million Euros, approximately $1.8 million.

These setbacks can be attributed to the pub's struggle during its inaugural year, significantly impacted by the global pandemic. Altogether, McGregor's pub has accumulated over $2 million in losses since the initiation of this business venture, as reported by The Independent in Ireland.

McGregor also established the Proper No 12 Irish whiskey brand. In 2021, he successfully sold a majority stake in the brand to Proximo Spirits, the owner of Jose Cuervo tequila and Bushmills whiskey. Valued at a reported $600 million, the deal resulted in McGregor receiving $130 million.
