It has been three years since one of the greatest segments in recent wrestling history. Chris Jericho and Kevin Owens' Festival of Friendship.

Even though Chris Jericho has only been an AEW star for a little more than a year, it's already hard to imagine him wrestling anywhere else. It's almost crazy to think he was a WWE Superstar for almost 20 years prior to that, and wrestled his last match for WWE less than two years ago.

Some fans would argue that despite his age, and having been in the business for almost 30 years, Jericho is currently on his best run. However, what he did in WWE cannot be overlooked. Even some of the stuff he did right before he parted ways with Vince McMahon. One of Y2J's most memorable WWE segments took place just months before he would stop competing full time.

We are, of course, talking about the Festival of Friendship. Jericho had become good friends with Kevin Owens and together, the pair tormented the roster. Jericho even helped KO retain the Universal Title on multiple occasions. It felt as if WWE was on the road to a title match between the two of them at WrestleMania 33. That didn't happen, but the break up did, and it was awesome.

Both men took to social media this week to acknowledge the anniversary of the segment. KO went with the not-sp-cryptic "How come my name’s on this?" tweet, but Jericho wanted to be a little wordier. Le Champion posted a photo of Owens slamming his head into the widescreen TV as part of the attack. The caption reads that it was one of Jericho's favorite segments to be a part of ever.

As if the segment couldn't be more emotional than the raw footage, it happened to take place amid the "better with Titanic" viral video craze. You can check out the result of that mash-up above but before you do, we'd recommend grabbing a tissue, it's emotional stuff. We wonder if Jericho and Owens will ever be reunited inside of a wrestling ring. We certainly hope so as together, they did some tremendous work.
