William Smith

Last month, Cesaro (real name Claudio Castagnoli) left WWE following the expiration of his contract.
The 40-year-old wrestler hadn't been used much on WWE television prior to his release. He signed a one-year extension in early 2021, but the two sides could not reach an agreement on a new contract. Because Cesaro wasn't outright released, he doesn't have to go under a non-compete clause of any kind, and he's free to sign with a new promotion whenevr.
Per Steven Fernandes of PWInsider.com, Cesaro has applied a trademark to the name "CSRO", for things such as shirts, hats socks, coffee beans, coffee drinks, ground coffee, ground coffee beans and the "Entertainment in the nature of wrestling contests."
Nothing is official, but this is a strong indicator that the former United States Champion will use the wrestling name "CSRO" in his post-WWE endeavors.
Cesaro's departure came as a massive surprise to many across the wrestling world. There was no indication ahead of time that he would possibly leave. It was suggested that Cesaro did not receive the lucrative money offers that WWE gave to Sami Zayn and Kevin Owens, who recently signed new WWE contracts.

Cesaro joined the WWE in 2011 and quickly became one of the company's top mid-card stars. Aside from the United States Championship, he also won the 2014 Andre the Giant Memorial Battle Royal at WrestleMania 30, five Raw Tag Team titles and two SmackDown Tag Team Championships.
Cesaro Will Do Just Fine Outside Of WWE
Despite high popularity and an elite in-ring skill set, Cesaro was often underused and poorly booked in WWE. It's also hard to understand why the company rarely featured him on television over his final months with the company.
At any rate, Cesaro is a household name and will immediately make an impact in the company that lands him next. Keep an eye on AEW, as company President and CEO Tony Khan recently expressed interest in signing him.
