Britt Baker's reign as AEW Women's World Champion came to an end earlier this week and her tolerance for naysayers is now lower than its ever been.
A few days after losing the AEW Women's World Championship to Thunder Rosa in a Steel Cage Match on the March 16 edition of AEW Dynamite, Baker took to social media to respond to idiots who accused her of using fake thumbtacks during the match.
“Normally I would never do this, but you guys are p*****g me off saying that thumbtacks we use are like gimmicked or fake or whatever," the fed-up former champ stated before holding her disfigured arm up to the camera. "This is where the tacks go in the skin, and this is what happens when they slide around or slip out and slip back in. So, kindly f**k off.”
The finish to the aforementioned Cage Match came after Rosa foiled Baker's Lockjaw attempt by slamming the (now-former) champ's hands down into the thumbtacks. Rosa then powerbombed Britt into the tacks and hit her with a Fire Thunder Driver for the 1-2-3. Anyone with a brain and a pair of working eyes could see that the thumbtacks were legitimate, so Baker was right to defend herself against the thumbtack truthers.

DMD and Thunder Rosa have been feuding on and off for over a year and famously beat the crap out of each other in a critically acclaimed Lights Out Match as last year's St. Patrick's Day Slam. That match, which also featured thumbtacks, was won Rosa too, but Britt would go on to win the AEW Women's World Championship from Hikaru Shida at Double or Nothing just a few weeks later.
With the title on the line, Baker and Rosa went one-on-one at Revolution on March 7. Rosa looked to have her rival beat at several points throughout the match, but interference from Baker's cronies (Rebel and Jamie Hayter) ultimately cost Rosa the gold. Rosa earned another shot at Baker's title by defeating Leyla Hirsch on the March 9 edition of Dynamite, but she was determined to learn from the injustices of the past ... which is why she challenged Baker to a steel cage match.
