Bobby Lashley May Be Back In Time For WrestleMania To Take On Omos

We have officially reached the point on the road to WrestleMania where announcers have started to say “a week from Saturday/Sunday”. With less than two weeks to go until WWE's biggest show of the year, you'd think the two-night card would be complete. Well, apparently not. Seth Rollins still does not have a match as we all tune into Raw each week expecting Cody Rhodes to show up only to be disappointed. It's actually a pretty smart way to pop ratings if you think about it.
Omos's WrestleMania Moment
Rollins isn't the only big star waiting to find out who they'll be facing on The Grandest Stage Of Them All. Omos also doesn't have an opponent, and it appears who that opponent will be hinges on the recovery of Bobby Lashley. WWE currently has The All Mighty penciled in to be Omos's WrestleMania opponent.

WrestleVotes was the first to hint at Omos having a big match lined up for WrestleMania, tweeting that his potential opponent would surprise fans but it isn't Veer or Rhodes. Fightful Select then followed up on that tweet by revealing the surprise opponent is Lashley. Neither man currently has a WrestleMania match, and Lashley has been out of action since losing the WWE Title at Elimination Chamber.
A Speedy Recovery
Lashley didn't even make it into the match, injuring his shoulder when two of his opponents crashed through his pod. It's still unclear whether that incident was planned so Lashley could have time off, or if that did indeed cause him to get hurt. Either way, Lashley really is working through something, and it's probably fair to say very few people expected to see him back by WrestleMania.
It's also fair to say this match isn't set in stone. Even matches that have been officially announced aren't set in stone as WWE has a tendency to change things right up until someone's music hits, and sometimes even after that. There's only one episode of Raw left between now and WrestleMania, so if Omos versus Lashley is going to be added to the card, it will have an incredibly short build.
