Music is such an important element of a wrestler's persona. Wrestlers live their lives similar to rock stars, as they are always on the road and put their all in performing for others, so there is a lot that wrestlers and rock stars can relate to each other with. Even some wrestlers become musicians due to their love of music and relatability.

And though there are many more bands than just these ones, these are some of the most known and passionate lovers of wrestling in music.
10 Bowling For Soup
Many bands have a member or two that enjoy professional wrestling, but not many famous bands have made a whole song about a professional wrestler. However, that's precisely what Bowling for Soup did in 2020 when they released the song "Alexa Bliss."

Of course, the music video sees Alexa Bliss, as she is hanging out with two kids as they drive around doing activities, like seeing a wrestling show. The song came about after the band struck a friendship with Bliss, and Bliss revealed to them that they were her favorite band.
9 Rancid
Rancid is a pivotal punk rock band, and guitarist and vocalist Lars Frederiksen is a known wrestling fan. Frederiksen has a public friendship with both CM Punk and Ruby Soho. The name Ruby Soho is from Rancid's third album, ...And Out Come The Wolves. Frederiksen gave Ruby Soho the idea for her name and the blessing to use them for her entrance theme. During the start of the CM Punk and MJF feud, Punk wore and ...And Out Come The Wolves shirt, which fans pointed out that the first song on that album is titled "Maxwell Murder," a possible hidden reference Punk was doing for the feud.
8 ZZ Top![]()
ZZ Top were one of music's biggest wrestling fans. The band guest-hosted Monday Night Raw on July 20, 2009, in Raleigh, North Carolina. The group did segments throughout the show with Santino Marcella, Chavo Guerrero Jr, an d Chris Jericho, setting up matches such as Hornswoggle vs. Chavo Guerrero and Chris Jericho vs. Mark Henry. 7 Insane Clown Posse
The notorious band/rap group, Insane Clown Posse, are one of the most controversial music acts around. The band has gained a cult-like following through their music, with their gimmick being dressing up as clowns, drinking Faygo, and coming up with horror-themed lyrics. Whether or not they are a great musical act is debatable, but what isn't is their love of pro wrestling. ICP has made appearances in WCW, TNA, and even created their own wrestling promotion, Juggalo Championship Wrestling. Violent Jay and Shaggy 2 Dope even created their own backyard wrestling video game, titled Backyard Wrestling: Don't Try This At Home, as well as a sequel release.
6 Limp Bizkit
Limp Bizkit created some of the most memorable musical moments in all of professional wrestling. When The Undertaker was doing his biker gimmick in the early 2000s, it was Limp Bizkit that served as The Undertaker's theme song. The song "Rollin'" is one of the most famous wrestling themes ever.

The band would work with WWE again for the WrestleMania 19 theme song "Crack Addict" as well as "Champions" for Night of Champions in 2012.
5 KISS
The incredibly popular band KISS were huge wrestling fans, so much so that there was even a KISS wrestler. The wrestler was not an actual member of the band, but his gimmick was that he was a Gene Simmons knock-off named The Demon. WCW and KISS were hoping that the crossover helped gain attention for both avenues, but the gimmick was considered terrible to most people, and although The Demon received a couple of high-profile matches, he was not a gimmick that was going to be loved by fans. If WCW had done the gimmick in a previous generation, it might have done better.
4 Every Time I Die
There are bands that have notable pro wrestlers in them, such as Chris Jericho's Fozzy, Jeff Hardy's Peroxwhy?Gen, and Lita's The Luchagors. Due to their status as wrestlers, the performers have been able to gain some popularity for their band.

That was the case for Every Time I Die's guitarist Andy Williams, who is known to wrestling fans as AEW's The Butcher. The Butcher debuted in AEW in 2019 alongside The Bunny and The Blade, and they have established themselves as a great heel act, currently aligning with Matt Hardy to form the Hardy Family Office.

The Grammy award-nominated band has been the theme song for shows such as NXT TakeOver: Respect and NXT TakeOver: Vengence Day. The band's drummer, Matt Nicholas, compared the style of their music to match the in-ring product NXT put on, telling WWE.com:
"We believe our music fits the intense, raw & energetic attitude of NXT perfectly, and as fans of wrestling, this is something we are more than proud to be a part of."
2 Misfits
The Misfits are one of the pioneers of punk rock music. Albums like Walk Among Us and Earth A.D./Wolfs Blood helped cultivate the more hardcore punk scene in the 1980s.

He called up the punk legends who had just reunited, and before fans knew it, they were watching the Misfits debut in WCW. The group would help out Vampiro and Jerry Only even wrestled, but the group was not in it for the long haul. Vampiro did have new Misfit-like face paint that spawned from this, which helped his character.
1 Motörhead
The English rock band, Motörhead, are one of the most important metal bands in history. Fans will be able to recognize the band from the grumble of frontman Lemmy's iconic voice as the band did Triple H's longtime theme song, "The Game." Triple H is known for having some of the greatest WrestleMania entrances in history, and one of the reasons for that is the live music from Motörhead that The Game was assisted with for WrestleMania 17 and 21. Motörhead did not just do one theme song in WWE, but two, creating Evolution's theme "Line In The Sand" as well.
