There are a lot of people who can join you in your travels through Faerun and help you out on your quests. Some of these are sensitive to what your actions are throughout the game, and some of them will join you regardless, but there are a lot of options for who you have in your four-person party.
All Companions Who Can Join You In Baldur's Gate 3
Each companion who can join you in Baldur's Gate 3 has a different starting class and specialty, and several of these are actually playable as Origin Characters when you're in character creation.
- Astarion - High Elf Rogue with a dark secret, playable as an Origin Character
- Gale - Human Wizard that's prone to blowing up, playable as an Origin Character
- Halsin - Druid Wood Elf that you meet during Act 1
- Jaheira - High-Half Elf Druid who was a major character in the other Baldur's Gate titles
- Karlach - Zariel Tiefling Barbarian with heartburn, playable as an Origin Character
- Lae'Zel - Githyanki Fighter, playable as an Origin Character
- Minsc - Human Ranger, not the smartest tool in the shed
- Minthara - Drow Paladin with religious doubt
- Shadowheart - High Half-Elf Trickster Domain Cleric with memory loss, playable as an Origin Character
- Wyll - Human Warlock with regency in his blood, and a dark pact with a devil, playable as an Origin Character
