Last week, AEW announced a big triple threat match for tonight's episode of Dynamite, which would have seen a bout between Toni Storm, Ruby Soho, and Britt Baker. That proposed match has changed, as the company showed during AEW Control Center, with Tony Schiavone announcing that Britt Baker is out, and the match will now just be between Storm and Soho. On Twitter this morning, AEW said that, due to injury, Britt Baker would not be able to compete.

Will Britt Baker's Absence Alter The Saraya And Toni Storm Heel Turn Storyline?

Last week's AEW Dynamite saw a surprising angle that turned Saraya and Toni Storm heel after they attacked Willow Nightingale following her match with Storm, resulting in Soho running down for the save. With Jamie Hayter's massive popularity, the seeds have been planted for a possible double turn that looks to see Hayter and Baker turn face. Now that Baker is out, hopefully for just a very short amount of time, what will become of the emerging storyline between the women?

Despite this setback, Dynamite is still set to be a huge show tonight in Lexington, Kentucky. Buddy Matthews will challenge Darby Allin for the TNT Championship, Ethan Page and Matt Hardy take on JungleHOOK ("Jungle Boy" Jack Perry and HOOK), Chris Jericho and Sammy Guevara battle Ricky Starks and Action Andretti, and Bryan Danielson wrestles Brian Cage. The emotional highlight of the night though will be Mark Briscoe, in his first AEW appearance, wrestling in honor of his fallen brother, Jay Briscoe, as he goes one-on-one with Jay Lethal.
