Ever since Amanza Smith was introduced to reality TV fans during Selling Sunset season 2, she's gone on to become a mainstay cast member for the hit Netflix series. Despite being friends with Mary Fitzgerald for a long time and having a great eye for interior decorating, Amanza was actually a part of the inaugural season of Selling Sunset. But following her introduction in season 2, Amanza instantly felt like a natural among this cast of real estate agents working for the Oppenheim Group.

To be fair, the show hasn't featured Amanza having a lot of success being a real estate agent herself. She struggled with her career moves throughout season 3, and season 4 didn't clarify whether or not she was able to move past those hurdles. This latest season showed Amanza staging a few houses in collaboration with her Selling sunset costars, but most of her storylines revolved around her mysterious ex and the parenting of her children.

Considering how mysterious Amanza Smith's backstory seems to be for fans watching Selling Sunset on Netflix, many viewers don't know too much about her personal life. It turns out that Amanza is 43 years old and was born in Vincennes, Indiana. Amanza has two kids: Noah, who was born in 2009, and Braker, who was born in 2011. They have both been featured in different episodes of Selling Sunset. Throughout Selling Sunset season 4, viewers followed along as Amanza hired a private investigator in an attempt to locate her ex-husband. During that investigation, Amanza found out that her ex had already signed the paperwork to relinquish all of his rights as the father of her kids. This was a very bittersweet discovery for Amanza. On one hand, she was relieved that her ex wouldn't try to take her children away from her. On the other hand, facing that reality and having to communicate it to her kids was still a hard pill for Amanza to swallow.

Many viewers hope that Amanza's story on Selling Sunset season 5 will be a little happier - or at least less stressful and emotional - than her journey on the show has been in the past.
