The Intercontinental Championship is one of the most historic titles in professional wrestling history, and it has a rich list of all-time greats who have gotten their hands on the gold. However, it is Chris Jericho who holds the honor for being the man with the most Intercontinental Title reigns in WWE history. Jericho has won the belt a record 9 times, more than anyone else. Some of his reigns may not have been especially long, with many coming within the Attitude Era when the belt hopped around from wrestler to wrestler, but he is still in the history books with the most reigns.

When looking at Chris Jericho’s WWE career alone, he is one of the most decorated wrestlers to have ever stepped foot in the company. Chris Jericho has made history everywhere, and he did so once again in All Elite Wrestling. He was the biggest name signed by the company early on in their life, and due to that he was booked to defeat Adam Page at AEW All Out 2019 to become the first ever AEW World Champion. His reign was entertaining and the dominance of the Inner Circle helped to carry AEW to a strong first year. Jericho would also win the ROH World Championship and have a reign full of great matches with that belt too. He hasn’t won a title for some time in AEW now, though.
