The Legacy of Leo Jackson Motorsports

Founded in 1985, Leo Jackson Motorsports was a beacon of success in the NASCAR world. Under Leo's stewardship, the team nurtured talents like Harry Gant and Andy Petree, who went on to become stalwarts in the sport. "They were my heroes," Leo once said, reflecting on his journey.

The Rise of a Racing Powerhouse

Leo's love for racing was sparked by the iconic Indianapolis 500. His team, though never clinching the Cup Series, was a formidable force on the track. In 1991, Harry Gant secured four consecutive wins, marking a high point in the team's history.

The End of an Era

In 1996, Jackson passed the baton to his trusted crew chief, Andy Petree, marking his retirement from motorsports. The team was renamed Andy Petree Racing, carrying forward Leo's legacy until its closure in 2004. Today, as we remember Leo Jackson, we celebrate a life that was truly driven by passion.
