Whether it's for a minor offense or something huge, some wrestlers have found themselves behind bars. On a few occasions, these arrests came when the stars were in the midst of a huge push. For some stars, WWE brushed it under the rug, as for others, they suffered punishment for the offense.

8 Jimmy Uso

WWE Jimmy Uso

Jimmy Uso is a multi-time tag-team champion, whose success is often overshadowed by his legal problems. Since 2011, he's found himself in and out of a jail cell on several occasions. Jimmy's arrests consist of several DUIs, driving on a suspended license, disorderly conduct, and obstruction of justice.

In June of this year, Jimmy once again found himself in legal trouble when he was arrested for a DUI. This marks the third time he's been busted for driving under the influence. Around this time, Jimmy along with Jey were featured in a big storyline with their cousin Roman Reigns. Although many fans thought Jimmy would be punished, he was kept on TV, and he and Jey went on to win the Smackdown tag titles.

7 Tiffany

WWE Tiffany

Wrestling fans know Taryn Terrell from her work in TNA. Before that, she worked in WWE under the ring name Tiffany. The blonde beauty worked as a competitor and ECW's General Manager. WWE was reportedly high on Tiffany and, in 2010, she teamed with Kelly Kelly for a feud with LayCool. At one point, Tiffany even fought Michelle McCool for the Women's Championship.

However, Tiffany's push came to a screeching halt following her August 2010 arrest. The reason for her arrest was due to a domestic disturbance with her husband, fellow WWE star Drew McIntyre. As punishment, WWE suspended Tiffany, then three months later released her. As for Tiffany and Drew's marriage, that came to an end in May 2011.

6 Cameron

WWE Cameron

Despite being the first contestant eliminated during the fifth season of Tough Enough. Ariane Andrew aka Cameron received a contract with WWE. In January 2012, she along with Naomi made their main roster debut as The Funkadactyls, the dancers for Brodus Clay. As Cameron's wrestling career was taking off, she ended up getting herself into a major jam.

Months after her debut, Cameron was arrested in August for a DUI and trying to bribe a police officer. Cameron's reason for bribing the cop was fear of losing her job. Although Cameron wasn't fired over the incident, she was given a two-week suspension as punishment.

5 Rob Van Dam

WWE and ECW star Rob Van Dam

Rob Van Dam is one of WWE and ECW's most popular stars. Aside from his love of wrestling, Van Dam also has a love for marijuana, which landed him in trouble during his WWE days. In July 2006, Van Dam was arrested for possession of marijuana and Vicodin pills after being pulled over for speeding. Van Dam got off with just a $140 fine, however, he faced harsher punishments from his boss.

At the time of his arrest, Van Dam was the WWE and ECW Champion. WWE would suspend Van Dam, and his push as champion came to an end when he lost both titles.

4 Kaitlyn

WWE Kaitlyn

NXT winner Kaitlyn received a huge push upon her debut on the main roster. In the fall of 2012, she found herself in pursuit of the Divas Championship. However, Kaitlyn's focus on the Divas Title was momentarily derailed when she was arrested for a minor offense.

Kaitlyn's arrest came in November 2012 during a WWE show in Michigan. The reason for her arrest was due to an old, unpaid speeding ticket from a prior trip to the state. The matter was resolved and it didn't have any effect on Kaitlyn's push. She would go on to win the Divas Championship two months later.

3 Ric Flair

WWE Ric Flair

Ric Flair is no stranger when it comes to legal issues. The Nature Boy has had several mugshots taken over the years. One of his arrests came during his WWE days. In December 2005, Flair was involved in a road rage incident during which he physically attacked another driver and damaged the person's car.

Flair was arrested on charges of assault and battery along with damage to personal property. At the time of Ric's arrest, he was involved in a huge storyline with Edge. WWE decided to use the incident as part of Flair and Edge's feud. During one segment, Edge dressed as the Nature Boy and mocked Ric's road rage.

2 Chris Jericho

WWE Chris Jericho

Chris Jericho is known to enjoy a bit of the bubbly. Yet, Jericho's love of liquor got him into trouble during January 2010. He was in the midst of his second run in WWE when he and fellow wrestler Gregory Helms aka The Hurricane found themselves on the wrong side of the law.

After having a couple of drinks, the two men hitched a ride in a cab, and that's when a fight broke out between the wrestlers. Police in Kentucky were called to a gas station where they arrested Jericho and Helms for alcohol intoxication in a public place. Later the men would be bailed out by fellow WWE stars Christian and CM Punk. The incident had no impact on Jericho's push because weeks later he won the World Heavyweight Championship. However, the same can't be said about Helms who was released from his WWE contract in February of that year.

1 Emma

WWE Emma

2014 saw NXT star Emma make her debut on the main roster, where she was paired with Santino Marella. Her main roster push seemed to be going smoothly until the Aussie found herself in a tiny bit of trouble. In June, she was arrested in Hartford, Connecticut for shoplifting an iPad case.

Emma's arrest sent shockwaves across the wrestling community. Later it was discovered Emma's shoplifting charge was due to a self-checkout not properly scanning the item. The star was ordered to perform one day of community service and the charges were dismissed. Following her arrest, WWE released her, however, it created a huge backlash from fans who considered it unfair. Hours after releasing Emma, WWE rehired her.
