If a theme song doesn't match with a Superstar's persona, fans are not going to remember them most likely. Over the years, many stories have come out regarding WWE music that fans would like to know. The following are a few popular musical tales involving WWE.

8 Jim Johnston Never Liked Wrestling

Jim Johnston

The legendary composer Jim Johnston created many iconic theme songs for some of the biggest wrestlers of all time. From The Undertaker's "Rest In Peace" to Shawn Michaels' "Sexy Boy", Johnston was perhaps the best music composer fans have ever seen.

But even after creating theme songs for many decades, Jim never liked wrestling. He was into music, he understood wrestlers' characters but he never became a WWE fan.

Stone Cold Steve Austin was the most popular star in the Attitude Era. Everyone knew what came after the glass shattering sound and that too was a creation of Johnston. It took only 20 minutes for Jim to figure out what Austin's theme song really needed.

The Texas Rattlesnake was very pleased by Johnston's work and, according to the music composer, Steve was one of the only few people who personally thanked him for creating such a wonderful theme song.

4 WWE Fired The CFO$ To Hire Them Full-Time

CFO$

After Jim Johnston, the musical duo of John Alicastro and Michael Lauri took over WWE music, also known as CFO$. These two created many great theme songs and mixed some old ones as well.

In 2019, CFO$ was dropped by WWE, but the company wanted to hire them as in-house composers. John and Michael had issues with their publisher who reportedly denied them a major portion of their money. When CFO$ and WWE tried to sign an agreement, their publisher denied and since then these two haven't worked for WWE. Last year, CFO$ officially broke up as well.

Reportedly, this change happened because CFO$ had signed a terrible deal with their former publishing company. This forced WWE to change the theme songs of many wrestlers. 2 Remixed Kurt Angle's Theme Song To Get Rid Of "You Suck" Chants

Kurt Angle WWE

Kurt Angle had one of the most iconic theme songs in wrestling. Everyone would start chanting "you suck!" whenever Angle came to the ring. This trend became popular in 2002 when the former Raw General Manager feuded with Edge.

It was good until Kurt was a heel. But when WWE turned him into a babyface, fans still did the "you suck!" chants. Vince McMahon got tired of it and Angle's theme was remixed so that wrestling fans stop saying those two words. But their plan didn't work out.

1 Added Lyrics To Shinsuke Nakamura's Music To Stop The Fans From Singing Along

Shinsuke Nakamura

"The King of Strong Style" Shinsuke Nakamura had a really great theme song that fans loved to sing along. After Nakamura turned heel, however, WWE decided to remix his entrance music to stop the fans from mimicking the tune.

A lot of fans didn't like that, but the new theme song that Nakamura got was also really cool. Nakamura finally got his old theme song back earlier this year.
