With that said, it is impossible not to think about what matches we will see at SummerSlam 2023. There are some dream matches that fans really want to see at the Biggest Party of the Summer, but there are also some possible matches that fans really don't want to see. Without further ado, let's take a look at five matches that WWE fans want to see at SummerSlam 2023, and five that they don't want to see.

10 Fans Want To See: Rhea Ripley Vs. Becky Lynch

Remember when Rhea Ripley and Becky Lynch had that epic stare down? That little moment made many fans' skin crawl, and a dream match was born. So, fans would love to see a match between The Man and The Eradicator at SummerSlam 2023. Right now, there aren't many women with enough credibility to challenge Rhea Ripley, but Becky Lynch does have what it takes to challenge the reigning SmackDown Women's Champion. That would be a must-watch match.

9 They Don’t: Bianca Belair Vs. Becky Lynch

Fans want to see Becky Lynch at SummerSlam, and it is almost certain that she will have a match at SummerSlam, and it will most likely be a singles match. A possible opponent for Becky is Bianca Belair, but the fans don't want to see that match again. Certainly, they had an extraordinary feud, with memorable matches, but the fans prefer to see something new. Instead of fighting The EST, Lynch could face Ronda Rousey, and the fans still want to see that match.

However, there is one extremely talented woman who deserves a single push, and we're talking about IYO SKY. The Japanese is a terrific in-ring performer, and she would be a great opponent for Belair at SummerSlam 2023.

Bobby Lashley is one of the greatest wrestlers out there, and he deserves a great match, and, truth be told, Wyatt hasn’t had a great match in years.

Gunther and Brock Lesnar had a fantastic moment at the 2023 Royal Rumble match, which made fans want to see them in a singles match. Brock Lesnar is one of the most destructive wrestlers of all time. They call him the beast for a reason.

Meanwhile, Gunther is one of the most intense wrestlers today, his matches are always physical and painful. So, these two guys have the potential to deliver a brutal match, they would destroy each other, and the fans would love to see it.

5 They Don’t: John Cena Vs. Edge

There is a possibility that John Cena and Edge will have one last dance at SummerSlam 2023, which would bring nostalgia to many fans, as it would remind us of their legendary rivalry. However, most fans don't want to see that match again. Truth be told, Edge and John Cena are past their prime, and would hardly have a great match like in the old days. It's better if they face off against a rising star, or a wrestler they've never faced before.

The Rock wasn’t able to face Roman Reigns at WrestleMania, but fans still hope they can face each other at SummerSlam. It would be one of the biggest matches in WWE history, as Roman Reigns is the greatest champion of the 21st century, and The Rock is one of the greatest superstars of all time. And yes, they are cousins. This match has the potential to be a masterpiece in terms of storytelling, and fans really want to watch it.

3 They Don’t: Sami Zayn & Kevin Owens Vs. The Usos

A common problem in WWE is that feuds don't end when they should, and we usually see unnecessary rematches. Fans hope that's not the case here. At the same time, fans don’t want to see a rematch between Cody Rhodes and Roman Reigns, because they feel the right time and place was WrestleMania 39, they feel WWE wasted a golden opportunity and ruined Cody Rhodes’ momentum. If The American Nightmare couldn’t beat The Tribal Chief at WrestleMania, what makes us think that he will do it at SummerSlam?
