Vikrant Massey's performance as Manoj Kumar Sharma in Vidhu Vinod Chopra's film 12th Fail has garnered praise. The actor recently responded to a post on X featuring a screenshot of real-life IPS officer Manoj Kumar Sharma and his wife, IRS officer Shraddha Joshi, in the scene's background.
On Tuesday, a user took to X, posted a screenshot from a scene and wrote, "Did anyone notice in the background, the real Manoj and Shraddha in this scene? What attention to detail! 12th Fail."

12th Fail, directed by Vidhu Vinod Chopra and starring Vikrant Massey, tells the story of UPSC aspirants and is inspired by real-life events. The film portrays the challenges faced by millions of students preparing for the UPSC entrance exam. It follows the journey of Manoj Kumar Sharma, who rose from poverty to become an IPS officer. Adapted from a novel by Anurag Pathak, the movie features Vikrant as a young boy from Chambal with aspirations to join the police force.
