Baking Sheet Tray

Try using an old metal baking sheet as a boot mat tray. Depending on the size of your entryway, you can use multiple trays lined up in a row—maybe one for each member of the family.

Plastic Bin Tray

This boot tray comes together quickly with a plastic container with lid, a drill, utility knife, ruler and marker. When the bin gets dirty, just rinse it out.

Shell Boot Tray

Instead of using rocks to help boots drain, use seashells! This DIYer used a $1 mat and lined it with shells and sand dollars from her collection, along with a few rocks to fill in the space for a ocean-inspired boot mat.
