Giants in wrestling, much like giants in mythology are huge lumbering forces of nature. To work like a giant in wrestling is to have a move set typically made up of slow, deliberate movements. But not every big man wants to work that fee-fi-fo-fum style. Sometimes even the big men want to showcase their athleticism and do some of the wild moves that smaller superstars are associated with.

While plenty of big men can get over easily just based on their size and their sometimes unspeakable power and power moves, whenever one of these mammoth men take to the skies, that’s when they can really captivate audiences.

10 Hulk Hogan - Enziguri

Hulk Hogan Enziguri

It’s almost not fair - the Hulk Hogan fans got in America during his epic babyface run was not as action packed as the Hulk Hogan that wrestled in New Japan. Hogan himself has admitted that he had to wrestle a different way in Japan, as the fans over there had a certain standard for in-ring action. While Hogan's persona carried him in North America, his in-ring work had to do the talking in Japan.

Besides utilizing the brutal double ax handle - The Ax Bomber as a finishing move, Hogan had a different kind of big boot he’d deliver from time to time. The Hulkster would utilize a step-up Enziguri to soften opponents up.

9 Undertaker - Old School

Considering Luchadors like AEW’s Kommander have practically made walking the ropes their home, it certainly looks tame when The Deadman did it.

However, remember The Phenom was a six-foot-ten walking the ropes like a circus man walking a tightrope before delivering a huge clubbing blow to his opponent’s back. It's always been a classic move in Undertaker's arsenal and fans have taken for granted just how difficult it is for a man of Taker's stature to pull off.

8 Vader - Moonsault

Vader Moonsault

Innovated by Mando Guerro and popularized by the likes of Leaping Lanny Poffo and The Great Muta, The Moonsault is still today one of the most magical moves in wrestling to watch.

There’s just something about watching a Superstar float through the air in a backflip glide motion. But when it’s a monster like Vader gliding through the air off the top rope, it’s pretty terrifying looking.

7 The Big Show - Nip Up

Big Show Nip Up

Over the years, The Big Show just kept getting bigger, which led to his mobility in the ring decreasing. His peers would consistently tell him that he needs to work like a giant - that’s what had worked for years, was the prevailing thought.

But a younger and more agile Giant did all sorts of moves that giants weren’t supposed to do. One of which was the Nip-Up, usually reserved for much smaller superstars like Shawn Michaels or The Rock. Show would eventually stick to moves more typical of a giant, but these highlights prove what an underrated athlete Show could be.

6 Bronson Reed - Tsunami

Several big men over the years have ascended to the top rope to come crashing down on their opponents and gave in their chests for a three-count. Bronson Reed, the mammoth Aussie looms large on the top rope for his finishing move.

The six foot, 330 pounder can cave in a sternum and a whole lot more when he comes crashing down from the top rope for his big splash, the Tsunami.

5 Scott Steiner - Frankensteiner

Frankensteiner from Scott Steiner

While moves like the Hurricanrana and the head scissor takedown were prevalent in wrestling for years, Scott Steiner was the guy who popularized The Frankensteiner in American wrestling.

What made Scott’s special wasn’t just the fact that he was larger than the average superstar fans were used to seeing pull the move off, but the strength of Scott Steiner’s legs made spiking an opponent into the mat look devastating.

4 Bam Bam Bigelow - Moonsault, Cartwheels

Fun fact for anyone not in the know - one of the first shows that Paul Heyman ever promoted emanated from New York’s fabled nightclub, Studio 54. On that night, a certain 330-plus pounder with flames tattooed on his head wrestled his first major match. It wasn’t long after that event that Bam Bam Bigelow made his first appearance in WWE.

But once the Bammer did make his presence known on the national stage, fans took notice real fast if a guy running around the ring at his size doing cartwheels and Moonsaults - several years before any other big man.

3 Kevin Owens - Frog Splash, Cannonball

Since his debut way back in 2015, Kevin Owens has proven himself to be one of the top draws of WWE, regardless of his placement on the card. One of the major reasons why is just how agile he is for a big man.

Owens has always been able to move like a lightweight, but his size is deceptive when he barrels into opponents with a Cannonball or tries to finish them off with a Frog Splash.

2 Keith Lee - Leapfrogs, Corkscrew Plancha

Keith Lee Leapfrog

There is a reason that Keith Lee refers to himself as Limitless. It’s because for the most part he is.

He’s been showing both the NXT and AEW crowds for several years just how Limitless he is. Not only does he get high for standard leap frogs, but the big man can even deliver Corkscrew Planchas from the ring to the floor.

1 Brodie Lee - Running Hurricanrana

Besides the personal connection Brodie Lee had with his friends, peers, and fans, professionally speaking, The Exalted One was just hitting his stride. He had made a name for himself on The Indies and WWE. But towards the end of his run there, he began to lean out and bulk up.

When he got to AEW, he began to put it all together. As a huge brawler, one of the moves that seemed completely wild to pull off was the running Hurricanrana, which he was able to pull off on anyone and any size.
